Room was good, big enough for us, and had all we needed, bed comfortable, shower really good, clean and tidy. (Maybe could do with a fridge) the surroundings were very nice, a short walk to the Riverside park. Bar and restaurant were lovely, and nice outside sitting area. Food and beers excellent, especially the Prince Bishop, would definitely stay here again'

'Die Lage war für uns als Hadrianswanderer ideal. Die Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, war aber für uns völlig genügend. Das Pub ist wunderschön gelegen und bietet sehr gutes Essen an, das man bei schönem Wetter draussen geniessen kann. Das Angebot war reichhaltig zu vernünftigen Preisen.
Schade war, dass man erst ab 8:00 frühstücken konnte mit sehr wässrigem, teurem Kaffee. Es übernachten sehr viele Hadrianswanderer, die sicher beizeiten loslaufen wollen.'

'The hotel is beautifully renovated, stylish and modern. All staff were so friendly and customer focused. Location right on the river and quayside short walk into city centre. 'We booked this as a large group and it didn't disappoint. The apartments were well laid out with ample space in the living room areas. There was great cleanliness throughout and areas stayed at a nice temperature. The accomodation was really quiet at night and the key system although awkward at first was easier than keys. The location was also great with a short tram or 20min walk into town.
Only small gripes are that we would have liked more utensils/ crockery, it would also be nice if there...

The surroundings are idyllic with lavender fields, apple and plum trees as well as all the beaitiful plants
Everywhere is immaculately maintained from the grounds to the restaurant and cottages.

Really big room with a lovely bathroom with twin sinks, a super bath and large seperate shower. Nice toiletries and large bath sheets too. The bed was very big and comfortable. Best of all was the balcony out onto the roof and behind the chinmey stack where it was great to sit in the sun in complete privacy with a cup of tea or a drink.
