Very nice resort close to monkey forest and Ubud palace. Breakfast buffet is very extensive. Spa offers various treatments for a good price.

It was a nice hotel to stay. It feels like home. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the hotel is centrally located, you have a wide choice of breakfast. The people who are staying there were very nice en quiet. Definitly worth to stay in Plataran. We had perfect 5 days! And if you need a taxi book Dewak. His number is+62 81 999 609 001. Zeker de moeite waard
Vriendelijk personeel. Leuk hotel in de stad. Veel eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Alhoewel het hotel beschikt over een prima restaurant. In het weekend is er een BBQ en live music. Heerlijk ontbijt.

Old, shows lots of age, the most poor breakfast in Asia, poor food quality, musty and although they had no available room upgrades, two appeared when we would spend money. It’s an ok hotel with nice people (all Balinese are BTW) but run down and in need of work. Food and beverage are a catastrophe. Loved the eco-friendly nature though. 5 stars for that.

The perfect location in Ubud
If you love being close to town and the Yoga Barn, this is the place to be. Walk everywhere, there are great restaurants at your doorstep. We have been coming here for years and we keep going back. Once you enter the lobby you walk into a serenity that you don't expect but will come the love. The view from the breakfast area is the best in our opinion. Two pools. A gym. And five minutes from yoga classes at YB. The service is second to none. Smiles everywhere, nothing is too difficult for the staff. We were in a twin room as we like our own mattress and the rooms are spacious, clean and light. Aircons new and individual, the bathrooms a bit worn (time for an upgrade?). We will definitely come back to our home away from home.

Need the better management
When i visited 4 years ago, everything was higher than my standard in terms of hotel cleaness, management, facility. When i visited 3 days ago with my wife, couldnt help hiding my dissapointment. Shower booth was very dirty and fixing shower equipment was bas, breakfast was worst part. Took 45min since we ordered Nasi Goreng, and tried all including juices, coffee, bread, all plates we ordered were worse than we expected. I guess this has been caused the decrease of guests and managements seem to get worse. Hope they can get back to where they were.

호텔 입구는 상업(bar)시설이라 의외.. 입구가 긴 숲을 들어 오면 선택을 후회하지않으실거에요 우붓 수영장 bar 보다 훨씬 수영장이 좋다 조식당 위치가 탁월하다(비현실적) 냉장고 뒤 작은 바 한마리 잡음 그래도 재방문의 있음 가성비 탁월

Positives Beautiful breathtaking views from the rooms They do buffet breakfast Valet parking is free They have a spa which is very good Local shops are very close by walking distance Independent shopping area no franchises Near monkey forrest Friendly and helpful staff Negatives Long walks to the hotel if buggy isnt available Looks like a restaurant at the front not a hotel Hard to find A/c in some rooms doesn't work properly Buffet breakfast doesn't have a wide variety of foods Food is cold and they're aren't many people eating so makes it awkward to dine They charge for airport shuttle The hotel laundry and food service is very expensive

ウブド王宮近辺は少し距離がありますが、モンキーフォレストも近く、ロケーションは良いと思います。 ホテルのスタッフは、皆笑顔で、レベルの違いはありますが、日本語を勉強してサービスに活かそうと意識しているようで好感が持てました。英語がほとんどできない自分でも何とかコミュニケーションをとることができて助かりました。 部屋は、広さ、清潔さなど全般的に問題ありませんでしたが、ベランダの無い部屋だったので、喫煙者の私にはタバコを吸いに外に行くのが少々面倒でした。 朝食後に、敷地内を散歩していると、設備工事の警備をしていた方が、近くに立っている動物小屋を案内してくれました。警備の方がホテルのスタッフかどうか確認はしていませんが、ホテルの印象が格段に上がりました。

Lush and Inviting. In the city!!
The Plantaran is a great spot for a couple of days in Ubud. A nice enough room, great AC, comfy bed and clean and quiet. The morning breakfast was good (check to see if it’s included.... we had some confusion). The staff was always helpful but not always well informed. For instance, Twist, an amazing little restaurant for curry is steps away but the staff tried to put us in a taxi telling us it was 15 minutes away. But the lush green space beyond the front desk area makes up for it. The pools are gorgeous but close at 8pm. Staff let us stay until 9pm so we could see sun down. And the dusk that follows.

Wonderful staff and hotel. Central location, nearby shops and tourist spots such as Ubud Market, Royal Palace, Saraswati Temple etc. Stunning resort that offers lots of free onsite activities such as fruit carving and Balinese dancing. Daily free afternoon tea is lovely way to relax before venturing out in the evening. Breakfast buffet has extensive range of food; chef made us fresh pancakes in accordance with our dietary needs every morning. Staff are very polite, friendly and helpful – exceptional customer service.
