We had a fantastic stay at the Salal Cabin. The cabin was clean, cozy, nicely decorated, and in the midst of beautifully peaceful and private surroundings. The kitchen was well stocked, the hot tub on the deck was a major plus, and communication from the host (Scott) was excellent.

Peaceful forest retreat
Loved my stay in this private little cabin tucked away in the woods. Surrounded by greenery, it felt like staying in a tree house. The bed was super comfortable and I enjoyed the luxurious bath amenities. The wood fireplace and hot tub were wonderful additions for a chilly evening. Great location as I prefer the Ucluelet area with its beautiful Wild Pacific Trail nearby.

The hot tub was amazing. The location was gorgeous, very private and quiet. Bed was comfy - the bathroom was sensational. We had an incredible stay in the forest! It really felt like we were miles away from the rest of the world even though we weren't. My only gripe was the lack of some kitchen basics like salt and pepper, cling wrap etc but that is a small complaint!

The cabin is very cozy and is perfect for a getaway. The amazing bathroom and comfortable king sized bed are definitely the highlights!

Sweet surprise... love this place
It's even better than the wonderful pictures. I desired a comfortable , quiet, safe place to go and destress. I had such a wonderful time... they thought of pretty much everything. My favorite unexpected... heated bathroom floor. The hot tub is ultra private,,, the bathroom is gorgeous... kitchen well stocked. Super warm colors and very comphy. The bed was very comfortable... Classy little place in the woods. 5 stars I have to say.... I always find the most amazing places on VRBO. Kauai... Maui...now Tofino! I will be back.

We enjoyed staying here. It was nice, clean, well planned and a great location for exploring the beautiful area around Ucluelet and Tofino. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

The finish work on the cabin was exceptional. It was roomy and well maintained.

This place is so charming and relaxing!
Me and my 2 daughters spent 4 nights here and it truly was our home away from home. Scott greeted us upon arriving and made sure we had everything we needed. If I ever come back to this area I hope to stay here again:) PS the shower and soaker tub are amazing!

Very private, cozy and green!
We loved our stay at Evergreen Forest Retreat so much! Scott put together a cozy, beautiful cabin in the middle of the forest with the hot tub right outside the door. The deep tub in the bathroom is so relaxing as is the bed! The bed sheets are incredibly soft. The drive into Ucluelet is super short ... There are a few yummy restaurants within a 10 minute drive! The Wild Pacific Trail is also within a short drive. Overall, we are really glad we stayed at Scott's cabin and we would definitely stay again!

Loved the hot tub . Everything we needed. Only thing is we wished they provided wood for the fireplace or at least an option to buy. And instructions on how to use the fireplace as we eventually got some wood from a gas station but we had some trouble with the flu at first to not smoke ourselves out! Comfy bed, loved the heated floors in the bathroom. Would stay again

Great Retreat.
Beautifully made cabin, hidden away in the woods. This is exactly what we needed for a few days of relaxing. The hot tub was a pleasure, the rooms comfortable, the fire place created a cozy atmosphere. I would always recommend it.

Hi my partner and I stayed in the Sahal cabin for 4 nights and I did not want to leave the privacy was wonderful, Fire at night, hot tub morning and night, the bed was was like an old sweater that you never want to take off, just fabulous, The bath Tub was great fit the two of us just perfect. Halfmoon bay was very close and was one of the best hikes. The weather was sunny and warm, Price was a little high but the value was there thanks again will come again::::) Allan

wonderful cabin and location
My husband and I stayed in this wonderful little cabin for four nights and wished we could've stayed longer. First I have to say that Ucluelet is a fantastic little town for those who like quiet & nature. Its mellow, beautiful and really a lovely place. The Evergreen Rainforest Salal cabin is beautifully built, has a hot tub that faces the forest, a nice, small, well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is also really nice with a large tub and great shower. I would recommend this cabin to those looking for a quiet, peaceful setting in a great little Canadian town. I hope we can return someday!

Fantastic family vacation, amazing cabin property and awesome hosts
This was our first family vacation with our 9 month old and first time in Ucluelet, and we were blown away by not only the amazing views, waking trails, and restaurants, but also our property we rented. If you haven't booked Scotts cabin yet, what are you waiting for? It is absolutely stunning inside, amazing tub that our daughter loved and huge shower! Scott even provided us a pack and play for our daughter and a wonderfully bottle of wine when we arrived. It did rain most of the time we were there which is ok as that is what it does in april ( but it stopped enough and we were prepared for the weather to enjoy everything the area had to offer), however what an amazing feeling it is to jump in a hot tub that is covered in the rain at night and enjoy wine. This property had it all including high speed internet which was great so we could FaceTime grandparents etc. Scott was only a text away and when I had a small problem with the door he came over right away and fixed it! Also the property is secluded away from the highway and you are in the beautiful "rain" forest so there was zero noise at night! Couldn't ask for anything more!
