'The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. We also used their in house Safari and the driver / guide was brilliant. Highly recommended.'

'I went to several places in Sri Lanka (the more expensive and the lesser) and I can honestly say I had the best time at this accommodation. I stayed in a tent by the river and the sounds of nature are incredible. The hotel is situated practically inside the rainforest, the owner came and picked me up in the village as the accommodation is at the end of a small path and not reachable by car (which made it even more adventurous, you’re truly going back to nature).
