'Wir verbrachten zwei Nächte bei Prashan – ein absolutes Highlight unserer Reise, das wir so schnell nicht vergessen werden. Prashan ist ein außergewöhnlich herzlicher Gastgeber, der sich mit voller Hingabe um seine Gäste kümmert. Er sorgt dafür, dass sich jeder sofort willkommen fühlt und den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen kann. Neben der beeindruckenden Safari im Udawalawe-Nationalpark waren die abendlichen Kochsessions ein besonderes Erlebnis. Je nach Wunsch kann man aktiv mitkochen...

'The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. We also used their in house Safari and the driver / guide was brilliant. Highly recommended.'

'La gentillesse du personnel, ils sont a votre écoute. L'hôtel sera parfait une fois l'étage terminé. Le RdC est très beau. La nourriture est excellente. Par contre, il est situé loin de tout, on y séjourne que pour voire la réserve, le matin un éléphant vient manger juste en face l'hôtel. Ne pas faire la nurserie pour éléphanteaux, perte de temps et d'argent...une nuit suffit, rien à faire d'autre à proximité.'

'Ett bra och fungerade litet hotel nära Udawalewe nationalpark. De fixade ihop hela vår jeep safari med en utmärkt chaufför med kort varsel. Fick en egen jeep som körde runt oss utan stress och under en hel eftermiddag i nationalparken till ett bra pris. Såg många elefanter, fåglar, krokodiler, apor, vattenbuffel, hjort, mm Trevlig personal som ville vårt bästa och som tom. fixade fram några öl genom att skick bud med Tuk-tuk. Suverän service. Enkla men fungerande rum. Bra pool som var härlig...

'Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation.'

'Really wonderful welcoming stay. The room was a bit musty smelling, and there were ants, but this was overshadowed by the managers hospitality. He really went the extra mile - even going to get beers for us as the shops were a bit far away :)'

'Agthira river camp was excellent. The staff were all friendly and the room was so nice. Looking onto the river was very relaxing and hours were spent watching the monkeys. The buffet in the morning and evening was great. The safari was booked via the hotel and was a great experience.'
