'Nous avions une bonne chambre dans cet hôtel au charme un peu décati avec logements espacés sur une vaste portion de plage : cela donne l’impression que l’hôtel n’est pas plein. Personnel extrêmement agréable et prévenant. Très belle plage de sable blanc se découvrant à marée basse. Seul petit problème : le système écolo de chauffage d’eau ne fournit pas d’eau chaude le matin !'

'PROS: The hotel is on beautiful grounds with a lovely pool and attended by friendly staff. CONS: The food is really very bad, the bedding and pillows should be burnt, and they use an incredibly unsafe and outdated credit card system. OVERALL: There are so many cool and interesting places to stay on Zanzibar. I'd opt for somewhere else.'

'We were a group of 7 adults / 4 rooms. The entire hotel staff was very attentive and friendly. Our rooms were on the ground level. We knew that the rooms do not have air conditioning, but the heat of the rooms surprised us. The sea breeze doesn't get to cool the downstairs rooms, so sweat flowed every night :-). The rooms were clean, but the water and drainage issues were not completely in order. During the week, all rooms needed maintenance. Some things were taken care of quickly, some needed...

"My mother and I enjoyed a delightful three-day stay at this hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and cooperative, always ready to assist. When a water pipe broke, they promptly provided an alternative, offering a can of water for showering. The diverse and delicious menu changed daily for dinner, and the breakfast was equally tasty, served by friendly staff. The quiet ambiance and breathtaking view make it a highly recommended retreat. Our garden villa, complete with a personal plunge pool, was spacious, immaculate, and included a daily supply of fresh water bottles. The rooms were consistently clean, and the staff throughout the hotel were welcoming and accommodating."
