'The room was worn but very clean and comfortable, with lots of room to spread out. It is in a central location that is convenient for access to buses and about a 10-minute walk to the ferry and train station. There are several grocery stores nearby, plus a pharmacy and a lot of other food and shopping options. The first room I was given had a broken washer, so if you are staying for a while and counting on a washer, you may want to let the management know in advance. The staff was great and...

'We were greeted enthusiastically by the owner, Pete, and felt immediately welcome. As we had never been to Brisbane before (having just flown in from Canada), Pete gave us all kinds of great ideas for enjoying the city. It was easy to hop on the bus to get to South Bank quickly and then hop a ferry to The Star for a nighttime view of the city.

"Brsibane is great. Although the hotel is in the centre somehow it manged to be somewhere where there is absolutly nothing. But don't worry, within 10-15 minutes walk you are in all the goo places or with Lime or uber. Go to South Bank (little stanley street) or city beach, or the Cliffs boardwalk for good food or Fortitude valley for nightlife ;)"
