Bunny Bungalow at Deerpoint

This 3 bedroom cottage is perfect for families and children of all ages and is located less than 5 minutes away from the town of Restoule. Explore the general store and LCBO, local restaurants, and the Mill Bay Market with a butcher, fresh food and ice cream bunkie. You are close to Restoule Provincial Park and will have access to all types of outdoor activities. Please see our guidebook outlining all the great things to do in the area!

Enjoy the shallow entry sandy beach entrance to the lake, where people of all ages can safely enjoy the lake. We have non-motorized watercraft, lifejackets and paddles available for all guests. The property includes expansive rolling lawns, vast wooded areas with plenty of space for all activities.

The Cottage:

- One level cottage with pine ceilings and accent walls with a patio door walkout onto the front porch with gas grill, table and outdoor seating.

- Starlink WiFi throughout the property and Smart lock for easy check in

- Sitting area with 2 couches, coffee table and a lounge chair facing the front window along with a 40” Roku TV and an assortment of board games and books

- L shaped fully equipped kitchen with gas range, full size fridge, microwave, tea/coffee station and dining table for 6

- Cottage is equipped with a water treatment system that includes charcoal/tannin filters, UV light, and reverse osmosis system providing drinking water

- Bedroom 1: 2 Twin Beds

- Bedroom 2: Queen Bed

- Bedroom 3: Queen bed

- Bathroom: 3 piece bathroom with vanity and walk in shower

- Ceiling fans in the great room and all 3 bedrooms

- Parking for one vehicle directly in front (additional parking available on the property)

This cottage is located in Deerpoint and shares outdoor spaces with two other Airbnb accommodations (see Bunny Bungalow and Moose Manor at Deerpoint), so we kindly ask that you keep your volume at a reasonable level and respect other guests that may be visiting at the same time. No pets allowed.

Guests will have access to their entire cottage with private front porch, barbeque, parking, and firepit with four Muskoka chairs.

Your cottage is located in Deerpoint Estate with over 700’ of pristine shoreline and 13 acres of lakefront property located on one of the quietest parts of Commanda Lake in Restoule, Ontario. The sprawling estate is set back from the road with a winding driveway through pine trees and a tranquil pond before coming over the ridge where you will experience the first expansive view of the lake. The property includes expansive rolling lawns, vast wooded areas with plenty of space for all activities.

You will have shared access to all of the amenities at Deerpoint including:

• You can enjoy swimming and all types of watersports from the shallow entry sand beach.

• Guests are welcome to use the non-motorized boats along with life jackets and paddles in the shared boat house. There are also an assortment of outdoor games including badminton, cornhole, and yahtze.

• Deerpoint includes Moose Manor, a 5 bedroom home with 3 bathrooms located at the top of the hill with views of the lake, trees and rolling lawns from all sides. Closer to the lake there are two recently built 3 bedroom cottages (Loon Lodge and Bunny Bungalow). The Birch Bunkie is located right on the waters edge.

• Each cottage can be booked separately or please enquire about reserving the entire Deerpoint Estate for large family retreats.

• As the outdoor spaces at Deerpoint are shared, we ask that you respect other guests that may be visiting at the same time. Quiet hours are from 12 am to 6 am.
