'This is a beautiful hotel with charm and wonderful hospitality. We have stayed here 4 times and hope to have more visits, which would be easier if we lived closer.
The staff are friendly and welcoming; the rooms very well appointed and clean and the food delicious.

'this is a wonderful hotel, a hidden gem just outside the town, but a pleasant walk via its gardens. it has a super pool, often we were the only ones using it. the food was really good, staff friendly and helpful. a lovely place to stay.'

'We had a very pleasent stay at the hotel. When we arrived, they gave us an upgraded room with a beautifull balcony and view at the town and river. The room looked just renovated and had a beautifull design. Good and large bed, clean rooms. The restaurant was very good and personal very friendly.'

'We are an elderly couple & had a four hour journey through difficult weather.
A staff member happened to be outside when we arrived & unasked, helped with parking, unloaded our luggage & took it to our room. On registering we were invited to rest in the lounge, served tea & assisted with telephoning. The room was very comfortable & clean. Breakfast excellent. All the staff were well turned out, friendly & helpful. On departure our luggage was carried from our room & placed in our car. '

'The property was very clean and all of the staff were so friendly and polite. The facilities are great wish we had a longer stay to be able to utilise everything. We will definitely be returning. The only criticism I have is that the decor in some areas and in our apartment was quite dated. But that isn't a deal breaker'

'Everything we hoped it would be and more. Friendly, very helpful staff and fantastic food and service which started before we arrived. The views across the Exe are stunning and the extensive grounds beautifully kept. We plan to come back next summer so we can use the beautiful pool and croquet lawn. Loved the chilled out vibe in the Poolside restaurant. '
