'Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub am Comersee. Die Unterkunft war super ausgestattet und perfekt gelegen,fast direkt am See, so dass man direkt mit Badeoutfit und Handtuch an den Strand konnte. Die riesige Terrasse lädt zum Chillen ein und liegt ruhig und abseits der Wege zum See. '

It is located very close to the local bars and restaurants and a 15 minute walk from the train station. The self check-in process was simple, although the instructions we were sent had the wrong box described for our apartment, but it was self explanatory once we got there as the boxes are all lettered. 'Beautiful spot, but difficult to access without a rental car. We were travelling on foot/train/bus and we had to rely solely on the 2 or 3 taxis in the township. The walk was ok downhill, but very arduous going back (We're in our 70's). We chose Varenna as it much more affordable than Ballagio, and the views are simply breathtaking. With a car, this would have been perfect, but we also found that the locals were very accommodating and actually took us home in their own vehicles a few...

'The apartment was close to the water, cafes, and restaurants. The layout was very nice. We used the pull out couch, and it was comfortable. The washer and dryer were also easy to use. Appliances were modern, as well as the bathroom. The bottle of rosé was an appreciated touch! '

It was advertised as having AC, but only had one weak portable unit that couldn’t cool the home below 27C (80F), making it unsafe for our newborn who was overheating and crying nonstop. On top of that, we were warned not to use multiple electrical devices at once or risk losing power—making it impossible to use fans or cool the space.Worse, the water heater vented directly into the kitchen, filling the home with gas whenever hot water was used. 'Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! '

'Mooie omgeving, leuke plaatjes prachtig uitzicht, je kan eventueel zwemmen bij de woning, goede restaurants in de buurt, in het huisje wel warm bij weer rond 30 graden. Veel activiteiten te doen zoals wandelen in de bergen, boottocht como meer, stadjes bezoeken zoals Lugano, markt porlezza enz.'

'UN BEL ENDROIT, UNE VUE SUPERBE, UN APPARTEMENT CONFORTABLE'

'Area amazing, in the town . Close to all amenities. Property clean. Sofa bed not comfortable to sleep on. Building work outside from 7am till around 2pm but was no stress for us because we ware always out. Parking , you have to buy permit 10£ a day. Overall good experience. Location amazing.'

"A Wonderful Stay on Elba Island We had a truly lovely stay on Elba Island. The accommodation was perfectly located—everything was within walking distance, including a stunning beach in the lower part of the area, where we spent many relaxing hours. The atmosphere overall was incredibly pleasant and welcoming. We also really enjoyed the breakfast—it was delicious and served with a warm smile. There were some great little restaurants just around the corner, making evenings easy and enjoyable. All in all, a fantastic experience. We would definitely come back!"
