Excellent continental breakfast. Awesome choices and very tasty. Had supper the night before and also was excellent and very good pricing.

Staff was great. Cleaning staff did a nice job but property is showing it's age and the grounds were quite littered.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. we apologize for the litter but hard to control the ravens that take it out of the trash bins or the people who rummage through the trash looking for cans and goodies and the guests who don't dispose of their garbage and put it in the receptacles.

You had stayed in an economy room, which are our most inexpensive rooms cause they are in our older buildings which means older rooms and older beds. As for the tv, we have had the cable company come multiple times to try and fix and keep getting told there is nothing they can do. We are sorry your economy room was not satisfactory for you. Our Main deluxe building is always available with deluxe standard and king rooms

The walls of the bathroom were so DIRTY... the bedspreads of both beds were littered with dark short hairs, as if people had shaved their legs right there on the beds. SO GROSS.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. If front desk was informed of the status of your room when you found all these things wrong, we would have tried to place you into another room that was better and cleaner. If we are not informed immediately we can not fix it.

Dear Gary, We are sorry to hear about your experience with the Horizon, however, the moment that you realized that your room was too hot, you could have notified the staff and you would have been given a different room immediately, and the air conditioner would have been investigated by our maintenance staff. In the future no matter where you stay, please inform the staff of any issue and I am sure it will be rectified by the motel/hotel's staff. Take care.

Not worth what we paid.
Checking in was a bit confusing as the girls at the desk seemed new and one didn’t seem to speak much English. They were also very young and made one wonder if they really worked there. The bed was very uncomfortable and my back was extremely sore the next day. We had booked and paid for three of us to stay there, yet there were two towels in the bathroom, one with a big hole in it. The free breakfast the next day would have been fantastic if it wasn’t cold (eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns) and I thought it was weird to offer only water, coffee and tea as drink options for kids. The girl was very sweet and let them have hot chocolate. The lady at the front desk the next morning was super sweet and very professional.

Upon arrival at 9:30pm, the only 5 vehicles in the parking lot should have been my first indication not to stay! Hot tub, jacuzzi and steam room were all closed, no cable tv (apparently it was out in every room, both days!) and the continental breakfast is still a juice box and granola bar to go, blaming Covid yet despite every other hotel has gone back to proper breakfasts… granola bar and juice box was fine when they had to but it’a time to start doing it right or don’t do it at all. Then to really take the experience home, they didn’t even bother to clean my room or restock the towels and in room coffee between nights. Honestly, stay anywhere else!!

This is our slow time of the year so yes, the motel is quiet. At checkin, when you complained about the Hot tub and sauna being closed, the front desk told you that you could cancel the room and stay at one of the other motels in town if you wished with no cancellation fee, but you stayed. Our to go continental breakfast has much more to offer than just a "juice box and granola bar" that you incorrectly stated. Our bagged breakfasts are convenient for our crews as they leave before most restaurants are open in the morning. The cable TV in this part of the town went out and we have repeatedly called the cable company. I'm afraid we can not control their repair service to get it fixed as quickly as we would like. Our head housekeeper discussed your room not getting cleaned with the staff member who did that floor that day. When they knocked on your door and you were still sleeping at about 10:00 am, they heard you say something but couldn't make it out. They thought you meant no service. We are sorry for the misunderstanding in regards to your room not being done.

We chose not to stay. The condition of the motel was not good. I am still waiting for a refund on my credit card. The charged a "damages" fee of $200. My card was charged $269.

The "charge" was just a pre-authorization and it was cancelled when you chose to not stay. You were not charged anything.

This property is very clean, very quiet despite being off the highway. Had a great experience, did not try their steak house but it seems to have a lot of great options and they can bring your food to your hotel door. Unfortunately their hot tub is broken and it has not been fixed in some time.

The first room they gave me was a maintenance room and when I told the front staff she seemed unbothered by it, very unprofessional. The front clerk earlier upon arrival was the rudest front desk woman I have ever met. Will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone including my employer.
