'This property is fantastic and we could not have hoped for better hosts. Derek and Lauren are kind, gracious, and very responsive! There was more than enough room for our group and could have easily accomodated 4 times the size of our group comfortably. The pool and hot tub were great for a nice, relaxing stay. Situated in a quiet cul du sac, close to a quaint little country store which more than met our needs, and still provided the quiet seclusion we were hoping for a quiet, relaxing weekend....

'We had a fabulous time during our stay. The house is fabulous with everything you need (some other options I looked at before booking here, we all would have had to bring our own linens and towels which is a huge inconvenience). The outdoor space was the best part. The pool/hot tub with the outdoor kitchen and bbq pit was perfect. If I had any questions about anything the host responded immediately. 'We spent one night while visiting our son. House and property is beautiful! Steps from river. Bedroom has huge comfy bed. Home has 3 comfy couches. Huge living room. We kayaked, fished and then watched a movie on the comfy couch with the kids. Huge porch that faces river. Many activities in town and good food options. '

'We had such a great weekend with our college age boys to celebrate our son's 22nd birthday! The cottage was super cute, the A/C worked well, the river was amazing and we had great communication with our host. Super cute towns (Ingram and Kerrville) and the nicest little market nearby with all the supplies we needed. '

'Comfortable and homey! The wrap around porch was the greatest especially in the morning for coffee. Roomy kitchen was well stocked with equipment. Wifi and good tv service. Great beds and bathrooms. Even though you have to walk a ways to the river. It's a superb place for swimming, diving, floating, just sitting. Would visit again.'

'Wow. What an incredible place. Aside from being absolutely beautiful, the location is amazing! It’s a short walking distance from the first crossing and there is a convenience store just down the road. We walked SEVERAL times to get things we needed and it had it all. The pool is beautiful. We went late September so the pool water was a little chilly, but still so fun. We are definitely headed back in the summer time. The cabin had EVERYTHING you need. Even the spice cabinet was great! 'Great place on the Frio, very spacious, nice rooms and porch deck (as well as pavilion down by the river). Host was great. The bunk house worked out well for the college kids and the 3 rooms for the adults/parents. We hope to stay there again next year.'
