"Beautiful big room with an extra living room, best breakfast ever here and the cocktail bar makes a super Old Fashioned. I lost my jewelry in the spa and found it back the next day as staff had already located it and kept it safe. Unbelievable experience and also great location "

"Breakfast had limited selection of bread, dry old and unripe fruit, 3 small pieces for a couple. The breakfast area was 1 star, Marriot standards unworthy. Looked tired and very dated, ugly views on buildings, plants that are not cared for, heating system old and not sufficient. It was freezing. Their reaction was that it was colder than normal. If you do not want to invest in proper heating for colder times than offer a good discount or alternatives. There were several other Marriot hotel dependences nearby. The sewage smell in the hall was very uncomfortable... And the view of the room is on a back alley on an small open space full of rubbish. Cleaning it would improve the view and standards. Personel is extremely nice though and the hotel is cute. Improve these things and it is good value. But for now I would not recommend it to others. Sorry because the hotel deserves better."

"Ik verbleef op de vijfde etage. Onder de lounge van het hotel. Je hoort tot diep in de nacht de stoelen schuiven. Wifi is slecht. Zit wel op een top locatie. De hygiene is ook wel goed wordt elke dag netjes schoongemaakt. "

"We had a great stay at Nordstern hotel. Strategic location, near public transport, the Galata tower and Galata bridge. The rooms have a nice vintage style decor with high ceilings while the bathroom is very modern (a smart choice). Our room was very clean and neat. The breakfast is buffet style with many savoury and sweet options. But the best part of the hotel is the excellent staff: they are very warm, kind, attentive, and professional. They really made us feel at home. Our airport transfer service was arranged smoothly and the contact with the hotel manager and reception was easy. We really liked the small attentive gestures from the staff: we were offered cold water when we arrived (apart from the bottled water in the rooms), and when we came back to our room after a long (warm!) day, we saw a bottle of ice cold water and normal bottled water. We would also like to thank the kitchen staff for the Turkish coffee, and they also offered to make us an omelette for breakfast, very kind. A big thank you to the staff! I would stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to feel at home in a neat hotel at a great location with excellent staff. Hopefully till next time."
