'I stayed at the Gjelina hotel over a weekend to get some intense work done away from the distractions of home. The staff were incredibly helpful, shoutout to Elliot especially. Lots of places to sit and hang out (or work) like the rooftop terrace, the courtyard, and even the lobby. Great to have Ocean Front Walk right there for high energy breaks and walks. The room was surprisingly quiet for one block from the beach.'

'I loved my quick trip to santa monica and greatly enjoyed the beauty of the shutters ocean view room with patio. Being able to see the ocean makes me feel closer to nature and i loved the decoration of this hotel including books to read and toys to play with in the room. We used a bike for an hour which was fun. The pool area is nice and very refreshing. Room service breakfast was very relaxing. '
'Aliza provided a really comfortable and quaint stay. I love this area of Venice, right across the street from one of the best Whole Foods in town and walkable to so many great restaurants and coffee shops. Would highly recommend.
The only feature I'd love to see them add is an indoor lock for the evenings. That would provide an additional layer of safety. '

'Very expensive hotel for what it offers. It's a decent hotel, clean, practical but not worth the value. I didn't want to pay a lot at the luxurious hotel but I paid more than others at the same level because it was “Hilton” but I don't think it's necessary. Location is not perfect but you can walk about 10 minutes to the pier. Parking: park in the parking lot across the street, much cheaper. Because I didn't use a valet, no one helped me with my 4 suitcases, which I think is extremely bad.'
'Family owned motel, nice personnel and clean atmosphere. However they missed somewhere that travellers expect more nowadays, the rooms are noisy (the doors are zero isolated so all traffic noise is in your room) and the fridge is right next to your bed, being a noisy roommate from time to time (only solution: unplug). Besides these low hanging fruit improvements the price is reaonable in relation to this area where hotel rates are sky high.'
'I really liked my stay. The location is great on the well known Venice Beach Boardwalk, the beach is literally 5 steps away. On the rooftop you can chill as well with a great view. Rooms are nice as well, beautiful bathroom and good bed to sleep in when you are not out in Venice and/or Santa Monica.'

"The biggest advantage of this motel is its location! Just 2 blocks from the Santa Monica beach and on the Main Street lined with shops and restaurants.
The motel has a retro feel which is wonderful. It also means that it comes with some disadvantages though. The AC is very loud and the furniture is outdated.
The reception provides body boards and beach towels which we welcomes very much, great service!"
