Summary:

A unique historic home spread over five floors inside an ancient tower in the heart of Vernazza. Once the home and studio of the Italian translator of Agatha Christie, it still holds the literary atmosphere and elegance of its golden years. Exclusive entrance directly on Via Roma, the village's main street, with direct access to Vernazza's harbour. Ideal for 2, sleeps up to 3.



The Space:

On the ground floor: living room, kitchen with Nespresso, bathroom, double bedroom and direct access to the harbour. On the first floor, a single room with a library — a tribute to the famous former owner. Higher up, a panoramic glass studio with 360° views over Vernazza, the sea and the vineyards, with a large work table, Smart TV and sofa. At the top, a private panoramic terrace, perfect for unforgettable sunsets. No air conditioning: the tower stays naturally cool thanks to the sea breezes and its historic architecture. Wi-Fi and Smart TV.



Guest Access:

Exclusive private entrance directly on Via Roma, with direct access to Vernazza's harbour. The home rises vertically over five floors connected by stairs: we recommend travelling light.



The Neighborhood:

In the heart of Vernazza, the most photographed village in the Cinque Terre, with its little harbour, Castello Doria and a piazza that comes alive every evening. The tower faces directly onto Via Roma and the harbour, steps from restaurants, shops and the swimming spots.



Getting Around:

The train station is a few minutes' walk. If driving, there's a public car park above the village (about 1,200 metres from the pedestrian area), with a shuttle down to the start of the pedestrian zone and then a short walk to our office (about 5 minutes). Booking the car park in advance is recommended (roughly €20/day).



Other Things to Note:

Small and medium dogs (non-dangerous breeds) are welcome for a €70 supplement; on a lead in communal areas, not on beds or sofas.



Heating is switched off by Italian law from 1 April to 1 November. We are in a National Park: please switch off lights and appliances when you go out — every small gesture counts.



Complimentary welcome breakfast on your first day, with local extra virgin olive oil, salt, sugar and compostable Nespresso capsules. Professional cleaning and eco-friendly practices.

Interaction with Guests:

Check-in is handled by our local team. Standard hours from 3:00pm to 6:30pm; from 6:30pm to 10:00pm self check-in is available with instructions by email (phone assistance in this window for a €50 supplement). No check-in possible after 10:00pm. For a smooth arrival, you must provide your email in advance: we'll send detailed instructions, the online check-in link (secure transmission of passport data, as required by Italian law) and the security deposit link. The access code is sent on the day of arrival, once the procedures are complete.
