'This was a halfway point from east coast to Ontario and it was perfect to access from the highway. Beds are super comfy and staff excellent. I would definitely stay here again. The only downfall is the resto across the street on weekends plays music quite late. I requested to have a room not facing it and not a sound. '

'We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Port Royal. This is a small hotel in an old stone building but the interior has been renovated so it combines the charm of an older building with modern conveniences. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and the staff is terrific. They are happy to speak with you in French or English. Taverne Louise, the hotel’s restaurant, is very charming and popular. 'Very nice hotel, the location is excellent. The only negative thing that I have is with the bathroom. Although it was super clean, mold has set in the bottom of the shower floor. This is not a room cleaning issue. This cannot be cleaned by the house cleaning staff. It is a management problem to deal with.'

'Love the unique style of the hotel. The room we were staying was roomy with two queen beds and beautiful views from the windows. The location of the hotel is excellent: the hotel itself is quiet, but all popular areas are within short walking distance. Public transportation is not that accessible though. 'This location is OUTSTANDING! If you want to explore Old Quebec, you could not ask for better. Incredible views from our window, walk or take elevator downstairs and you are in the midst of the gorgeous old town right across from Chateau Frontenac. Tons of restaurants and shops are located all around. Parking is available about 4 minute walk away, you probably won't need your car much. Very friendly staff and the room is modern and well-maintained. Wish we were staying longer!'
