'We stayed at this hotel in May 2026 — a beautifully renovated monastery that could not be more stunning. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the pool area looks like something from a storybook. The interior is divinely elegant. Our room was the suite on the top floor overlooking the charming town of Canelli, Italy. 'The hotel is placed on a beautiful high spot looking out over the local vineyards. With a number of high quality restaurants in the area, there are plenty of options to taste some of the excellent local foods. We did not try the hotel's own restaurant, apart from breakfast (which was excellent). All the staff were extremely helpful and the rooms are very spacious and tastefully appointed. This was a great stop on our mini tour through Italy and we'd love the opportunity to come back.'
