Welkom bij Breathe Easy

Breathe Easy is een chique blokhut met rustieke elegantie met een designflair in een prachtige bergtop. Het huis heeft een indrukwekkend langwerpig uitzicht, waaronder een rechtdoorzeezicht op de beroemde Grootvaderberg. In tegenstelling tot veel berghuizen, heeft Breathe Easy een ontspannen, vlakke tuin rondom het huis met gemakkelijk parkeren en omkeerbaarheid. Het huis is gebouwd met teruggewonnen schuurhout en heeft fijn houtwerk, lederen meubels, interessant antiek en designafwerkingen. De buitenruimte is voorzien van een stookplaats en een comfortabele zithoek in de voortuin met een schommelstoel voorporch.

Breathe Easy ligt op slechts enkele minuten van de beroemde Mast General Store in het schilderachtige Valle Crucis. Het huis ligt op ongeveer 10 minuten van Boone. Dichtbij attracties zijn het pretpark Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, het skigebied Sugar Mountain, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Hawks Nest Zip Line en Snow Tubing, High Gravity Adventures Klimpark, Wahoo's Whitewater Rafting en nog veel meer.

Breathe Easy is toegankelijk via een steile grind oprit. Het wordt geploegd in de winter. Zoals met al onze huizen, zijn 4WD en sneeuwkettingen nodig in de winter om dit eigendom te bereiken. In de zomer is het huis toegankelijk met 2WD, maar gasten moeten worden voorbereid op een steile grindklim. Het steilste deel van de weg was in 2016 geplaveid voor verbeterde toegang.

Absolutely fabulous

I rented the cabin for myself, my daughter and three grandchildren. We absolutely loved it. It was an amazing spot with a beautiful view. We enjoyed much of the time outside. The children enjoyed the treehouse. We had a fire in the fire pit. Wood was available to buy on site. The house was cozy and comfortable. So welcoming when we arrived after a day of travel. We visited area spots, including grandfather, mountain, Tweetsie, and Mast General store. It was wonderful to come home to our cozy place.The basement with all the games, including air hockey, foosball table, and ping-pong was also much appreciated. I certainly hope to visit again.

Time to Breath Easy

Exactly what we needed. Time to disconnect from the world and reconnect as a family. So peaceful to sit and listen to nature. Watched the fog roll through the valley. Home is very comfortable and has everything you could need. Beds are very comfortable. We had a wonderful weekend and plan to come back.

Great getaway location

Terrific place for a family getaway. Outdoor play area and basement games were a huge hit with the kids (5 and 8). Peaceful location close to hiking and a few charming towns.It's worth noting that the upstairs bedroom isn't completely closed off from the downstairs living area, so we upgraded the kids to the master bedroom to help bedtime go smoothly.Definitely would stay again!

Our family loved this little gem of a cabin! The views are amazing and in a great location to get around the area. The kids particularly loved the tree house and the ping pong table. We didn't feel like we had to schedule many activities because just being at the cabin was enough to keep them busy. We'll be back!

Perfect Family Getaway

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Breath Easy! The cabin is truly perfect, we have 3 young boys, and they had the best time, and I am sure it is a vacation they will remember forever. Every detail is thought out, and the owner is so kind. The location of the cabin is also really nice, with only being a short drive to town. We hope to be back one day!

Best Mountain Getaway Experience Ever

If we could give this an extra star we would. We are frequent travelers to the mountains of North Carolina and this is by far the best rental experience we have had. The cabin is beautifully decorated and cozy, the view is stunning, and the location is amazing. Additionally, the owners treat their guests as if they were friends or family. Perfect Escape!

Our family really enjoyed staying at “Breathe Easy” for the Veteran’s Day weekend 2024. It is beautiful inside and out! The cabin was cozy and beautifully decorated, very clean, and fully stocked with cookware, towels, plenty of bedding and blankets. The game area in the basement was an added plus for family fun. The outside had an incredible view of grandfather mountain with a great fire pit. Fire wood available right on the premises was also great. The owners who lived next door were very friendly people and we loved getting to know them. This felt like home away from home and we definitely will be coming back! This was a secluded awesome cabin with few distractions that allowed us to turn down the noise and speed of our lives. It was an ideal setting to rest and renew. It was a perfect cozy cabin with a great view of grandfather mountains. Very steep driveway to get to cabin since it’s on top of its own “hill” my little car did great… however if you are there during winter months the driveway could get tricky. Quiet area and perfect neighbors.

Best cabin we've ever rented!

Amazing home and location! It was SO quiet and peaceful. We were in town picking our oldest up from camp then stayed a few days and absolutely loved our time there! Fire pit was perfect, the kids spent all their time between the swings and the games downstairs, no one was ever bored! The owners are amazing and have put so much love and thought into making this the perfect getaway. And the VIEW is incredible! We will definitely be back sometime!! Thank you for an amazing week!

Fantastic place

This place is a great place to stay. The house is nestled on top of a mountain with a great view of neighboring Grandfather Mountain. All the appliances are new and everything was super clean and laid out well and loved that everything was labeled to help figure out whats what. The hosts are nice as they live on the same driveway and are very welcoming and accommodating if you need something. Its super close to Boone via a 10 minute drive and Blowing Rock via a 20 minute drive. We will definitely return to this wonderful place
