'Alpine Ridge was absolutely perfect! Every area that we checked out inside and out was met with a WOW! The layout of the house is such that you could all gather together or find your own private spot to read or have some private chill out time. The fire pit, hot tub and garage game area were a must every night. The grandsons were in their glory surrounded by woods. The bedrooms and beds were spacious and comfortable. I could go on and on! The host was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond—when we realized we needed an extra night that wasn’t originally open, they made it possible for us to extend our stay. 'The surrounding area to the property is gorgeous and has great potential for a nice place to get away; however, the lack of information prior to arriving was a bit of a let down. Firstly, there was no indication before arriving that the place we would be staying at was currently in the process of being remodeled. Loose insulation, cracks in the ceiling, and tiny pieces of stone/tile on the shower floor were just some of the things noticed. Secondly, please do not advertise a space as pet...

'We come to the area annually to visit our family and only wish we'd found this spot sooner! Clean, convenient and spacious. We have younger kids and a dog and the park across the street was a great bonus, too. Easy access to all that the area has to offer. Kelly was super responsive and helpful throughout -- we can't wait to come back! '

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
