Vind je ideale hotel in Vilcabamba

'The Ecolodge Don Felix was a comfortable place to stay while touring in Quillabamba. It’s set in a beautiful spot by the river that is wonderful to listen to through the night. We enjoyed the pool and watching the chickens roaming the site during our stay.'

'Staff was extremely kind and helpful. It was genuine not fake. Hotel was new and clean. Had elevator and you didn't have to climb steps. Very convenient to the train station, so not to much uphill walking. Locally used tienda which meant better prices on, water, sodas, snacks and beer. Friendly locals. Only one small dissatisfaction. One morning we ate breakfast around 8:30 and the eggs and salchichas were completely cold. I would stay here again and recommend my friends.'

'Someone was waiting for us at the train station to take us to Rupa. That was nice because the place is not easy to find. Also someone carried the luggage which was much appreciated while it's a very steep climb to the hotel. Rooms are nicely decorated and staff is very helpfull and speak good english. So a perfect place to stay. Only negative I can say is that the showers where not hot but that is realy the only thing. '

'Great stay. Perfectly located between the train station, shops and restaurants. They had complimentary breakfast included. The shower got really hot. We traveled with our two toddlers, had a triple room and we were all comfortable. Check out felt early but they held our bags for us while we waited for our train. Would stay there again.'

'The interior of the hotel is very nice and our room was beautiful. The breakfast staff and front desk staff were awesome. The room was very cold and there are heaters but they just seem to barely warm the room. The desk staff provided an additional plug-in heater.'

'Excellent service. Greeted us at the train station. Just a short walk from the train station. It was a fair breakfast with fresh fruit and eggs. It was the level of service that made this great. We sent out our laundry twice. The washroom is a tight fit. We enjoyed the family room with 3 beds.'

'Very disappointing experience. As two women traveling alone, arriving after dark to an unfamiliar town was stressful enough, but this hotel made the situation even worse. Communication was difficult because very few staff members, including management, spoke English, leaving us feeling unsupported and uncertain about our options. The hotel itself was not what we expected. The lobby appeared old, shabby, and poorly maintained. The overall atmosphere felt more like a budget hostel than a hotel....
