Tegenover het hotel een supermarkt, waar je van alles kon kopen en dus koel kon bewaren in de koelkast....prettig als je van een dag strand (temp. van 32 graden) terugkwam in je kamer en dan even iets kouds te drinken kon pakken!

Personally, I only used the hostel for sleeping as I explored the city during the day. A clear recommendation for open-minded people, whether alone or in a small group. Beneden in het gebouw is een bubbelbad, gratis gebruik van te maken. "Hotel zit midden in het uitgaansgebied. Op loopafstand van nog meer leuke en gezellige steegjes.
Wat voor ons minder prettig was, was dat we in de kamers geen direct licht hadden. Het raam keek uit op de “koker” van de installaties van het hotel. Was erg deprimerend. Ook liep het water vanuit de douche onder de douchewand door, waardoor de badkamervloer met water stond.
Er is wel een dakterras met mooi uitzicht op de stad/zee.

"This hotel has four stars, but in my opinion it would certainly deserve a fifth one. It's right in the historic centre, but located between a lovely quiet square and a narrow ancient street, which makes it a very quiet environment - an island of silence right in the middle of a very loud and busy city.
Very friendly staff, cool classic and relatively spacious rooms, and of course the lounge (which looks like a medieval cloister) with a live pianist is breathtaking.
On second thought - the hotel might be just perfect without a fifth star - I wouldn't want the extremely reasonable prices to go up :)"
