The staff was excellent: attentive, friendly, and respectful 24 hours a day. The hotel has a recycling chute/bin in the hall which is a plus in my book. And the lobby coffee maker grinds the beans for fresh coffee. Parking is limited, but we always found a spot. Luggage carts are limited; we had to wait for one when checking out on a Sunday. The front desk was very understanding about our delay.
The room was nice overall, well laid out and a great view. But it had a few problems. There was no hot water in the shower when we arrived. We had to wait for maintenance to come fix it, twice. There is no conventional oven in the kitchen, just a microwave/convection combo, which I've never used (convection) before. It also lacked basic kitchen necessities like a cutting board and a decent frying pan for eggs. It was stainless, and no matter what I try, the eggs stick to the pan. The heater kept heating even when turned down to 60 (min) so we turned it off. In February. But more problematically, the bed was uncomfortable: soft, with big dips where people had slept before us. Also, it was billed as a queen bed. I have a queen bed at home, and this was smaller.
The biggest problem, though, was lack of soundproofing. The place was almost empty the first two nights, and we slept okay, But the second two nights, we were kept awake by the conversations of the people next door, people slamming doors elsewhere in the hallway, and people talking in the hallway. Not my best choice.
