'This is a great place to stay! It puts you close enough to the beach, but without most of the traffic. There’s plenty of shops in case you forgot something. Overall, my friends and I had a great time; would probably stay again.'

'Upon arriving it was dark & I was having a hard time finding the residence. I gave the host a call & he was very friendly and helpful, was able to find it right after speaking with him. The RV is super cute, very relaxing view in the back.'

'Property location to Virginia Beach was great! Like a 10 minute drive. While small, its nice having a full size refrigerator, oven, and small kitchen which you wouldn't get with a hotel room. The one drawback is a lack of outlets in the bedroom by the bed. If you use a CPAP machine like I do, and then two people wish to charge their phones overnight by the bed, bring a small powerstrip for extended outlets. Also, the outlets behind the dresser in the bedroom and the outlet in the living...

'Last minute booking turned into a treat. My husband and I had a private room and my daughter loved sleeping on the sleeper sofa. Unit had everything we needed. We just had to walk across the street to get to the beach, lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. 'Rented at 18 different beach properties over the years, all 11 off us agree, this was the most amazing. It was perfect and kids of all ages (and adults) had a wonderful time. Clean, organized, well stocked, many things to do on property (we had a pickle ball tournament). Can't say enough good things about this property/'

'House size and amenities were exceptional. Croatan is a beautiful neighborhood with many lovely homes. Enjoyed a very functional deck grill, fully stocked kitchen and some of the beach amenities, especially the chairs. Unfortunate that the beach had heavy seaweed and presence of jelly fish larvae. Made the 5 minute drive to Virginia Beach which was clean of both elements in the water.'

"This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
