'We stayed with our baby so I was a very picky mom but was very impressed with the property. Our room and balcony were clean, worst part was the AC leaked on the balcony but that is to be expected, just wear your sandals. The indoor pool was perfect for our afternoon cool down and easy to be out of the sun. Our family will be back!'

'The ONLY thing we had a problem with was the parking situation. Valet only! We have never had to pay for parking at a hotel, anywhere!! The only option that was given to us was pay them or pay someone else. This was not a cheap room, $300 + a night at the end of September. Could have been a real cluster if we needed to retrieve all of our beach gear and bicycles. We had no idea where the car was stored. This alone will keep us from coming back.'

'This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view...

'Seemingly older hotel but well kept, clean, with friendly staff and a lot of amenities'

'The property was in a great location. The fact that it is on the beach is hard at times to maintain a very clean main floor. Lots of people think it is okay to come out of the pool all wet and walk on the main floor with no regards to others. The biggest problem I had was it appeared to be mold on the ceiling. I took several pictures and show the front desk when I checked out. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant attached to the holiday is very nice.'

'Very fun atmosphere! The bar was a blast! The decor was whimsical and the balcony room was clean and welcoming. When a hotel has a two story slide in the lobby that, after 8pm, is reserved for adults, you know you found something special!!'
