'Very nice and clean hostel. Very comfortable! Location is great and close to the station. The atmosphere is not amazing tho. Because there’s only a ‘café’ open at 8-10am and there’s no bar it’s hard to meet new people as a solo traveler. The lockers in the dorm are really small so you won’t be able to put all your stuff in a locker. Overall a great hostel if you’re looking for a relaxed place.'

'The room was very basic, but clean and the hostel is within walking distance from the beautiful old center of Salzburg (approx. 20 minutes). In the immediate area of the hostel however, there is not much to do or visit. Unfortunately, as it turned out, the room we had booked (with a queen size bed) didn't exist (the Muffin hostel only has rooms with single beds), so that was disappointing for a married couple like us. Also (and I realize that Salzburg is thé most expensive city in Austria),...
