'We didn't get a booking email, so didn't realise that we had to check in down the road at another motel, but got there in the end. Motel is in a good, central location. Unit was clean and tidy but did have a slight odour from someone cooking prior. Unit was a really good size. Could hear people walking around in hallway/TV from next unit occasionally. Plenty of parking onsite. Units' downstairs were numbered with painter's tape, would be nice to see proper numbers.'

'Moeilijk om in te checken en koffers uit te laden omdat er geen parkeergelegenheid voor de ingang is. Er moet betaald worden om te parkeren op een gereserveerde hotelparkeerplaats in een parkeergarage.'

'If you have a larger vehicle (such as a ute), parking can get a bit snug with parking size and turning area on the site. There is a larger parking bay at the front but depending on demand at the motel that may already be occupied. Great motel but something to consider if booking when events are on in the area.'

'Warning..The Ventura hides behind their 48hr cancellation policy with no empathy for a guests situation. My husband had surgery in Hamilton & the standard time in hospital was 3 nights. Fortunately it went well so he was discharged after 2 nights. As soon as we were told he could go home a day early I called The Ventura from the hospital to say I would not need the following night. Their immediate reply was there would be no refund'

'have stayed here several times for work and it is consistent. Unfortunately this week the internet did not work at all - I was moved to another room the next day and it was fine'

'The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean with a nice shower in the bathroom. However, the parking area was tight and difficult to back out when filled. I would recommend to the owners to put more hooks in the rooms for coats, towels etc. Also, have more than one small rubbish bin. '

'The kitchen was well equipped if we had needed it. Did not use the laundry this time but it's handy to know it's there, and easy to use. The room was very clean and the bed really comfortable. The heat pump was good, and not always available in motels. A handy location. '

'The room was quite small, had no coffeemachine. Breakfast was ok but not special. Cleaning the room was not done tilll 4 pm. We did not feel we stayed in a 4+ hotel. '

'I'm going to keep this short and sweet. There were cockroaches in my bed. They were babys too which is a sign that they are breeding and there is an infestation. I personally find that to be a crazy health and safety issue but apparently this is not grounds for a refund. I am disappointed by both the hotel and Expedia.'

'Clean room, staff are welcoming though no free self parking available onsite. Rooms are spacious, comfy bed and decent sized bathroom, doesn’t feel too cramped. '

'Es war ein sauberes Zimmer und das Hotel war in einem sehr guten Zustand. Außerdem war die Lage sehr gut und man konnte vieles zu Fuß erreichen. Ansonsten gab es aber auch genügend Parkplätze direkt beim Hotel.'
