Resort aan het strand Makani A Kai # B-1 is een luxe appartement met een duidelijk huiselijke plattegrond, een beetje anders dan de gebruikelijke vakantie-eenheden die u ziet. Het is prachtig gerenoveerd met hoogwaardige materialen en biedt een serene, tropische sfeer met kleurrijke eilandkunst, inrichting, kwaliteitsmeubilair en graniet in de volledige keuken en marmeren tegels in de prachtige badkamers met inloopdouche. Dit is een eenheid met twee slaapkamers / twee badkamers die geschikt is voor vier personen.

Na een dag vol avontuur op Maui kunt u afkoelen in de airconditioning en ontspannen voor de grote flatscreen-tv (met aanvullend kabel- en geluidssysteem). Er zijn tal van goede restaurants in de buurt, maar met de volledig uitgeruste keuken, kunt u uw eigen tropische diner creëren - geniet van de vruchten van uw inspanningen binnen of buiten op de Lanai, beide hebben plaats voor vier. Het uitzicht vanaf de Lanai is over het tropische landschap, het zwembad BBQ / Picnic-station, en op naar buiten Ma'alaea Bay, met Haleakala dienen als een indrukwekkende achtergrond! Er zijn veel activiteiten gaande, havenboten op spannende excursies; mensen die surfen, peddelen en spelen - en in de winter keren bultruggen terug uit het koude water van Alaska om in Hawaii hun baby's te baren, het is allemaal eindeloos interessant.

Het resort ligt naast het Haycraft County Beach Park; het is populair bij lokale families en surfers, en is het beginpunt voor het verkennen van het 2. 5-mijl stuk bekend als Sugar Beach. Het is onbebouwd, rustig en de uitzichten zijn onbelemmerd. Ma'alaea Harbour and Shops liggen op ongeveer 15 minuten lopen naar het westen en moeten echt worden verkend - de haven is een drukte met de rondvaartboten, en de winkels, restaurants en attracties zijn leuk en afwisselend.

En tot slot, aangezien het resort centraal gelegen is, is het gemakkelijk om de attracties in het westen, noorden en zuiden te verkennen met pendeltijden tussen de 15 en 40 minuten. KRIJG # W40839916-01

Good first trip to Maui

Place was clean and as listed. Pool was nice and was nice to be able to see and hear the ocean from the balcony. There was some weird smell outside near the water but not the property owners fault, just figured I'd mention cause it was very noticeable to us. Got used to it honestly though and overall was happy was the stay.

The condo was exactly as pictured and described! Very clean, has everything you need and the grounds and beach area is beautiful. Location is great! You can get to most of the popular areas on the island in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend this condo.

Great condo and property, but.....

The condo was extremely clean and had everything we needed. It was very nice. The property was clean and well maintained and super close to the beach and ocean. However, the unit is right next to the parking lot and the lot for an adjacent building, so cars in and out all night. There was a rooster that crowed every morning at 3 AM for about an hour and half. He sounded like he was in the room with us. Friday night and Saturday night were a different story. A group of people started a fight in the parking lot with a lot of screaming and profanity. They were going from the condo pool to the street across the building, chasing each other and screaming. I'm not sure if it was the transients that seem to live in their cars in the street or fellow condo residents. We ended up calling the police. This went on for over an hour and a half. I am former police officer and was worried that they might start trying to get into the units themselves. There was a beer bottle in the pool in the morning. Saturday night/Sunday Morning was a repeat of Friday for almost 2 hours. with screaming and carrying on in the parking lot and the police were summoned again. I did not feel safe those nights with my family. There is also an air conditioner for the neighboring unit about ten feet from the Lenai that ran non-stop, blocking out the sound of the ocean waves and making it hard to have a conversation.

The place is clean, perfectly set up, comfortable, and comes with all the amenities you could wish for. Beach gear is provided as well as many kitchen utensils. View from the balcony is literally a postcard view and is perfect for sunset and sunrise viewing. Beach is less than a 2 minute walk. Serene, calm, and relaxing.

Maui Family Trip 2022

We absolutely loved this property. It was just as it was listed on the site. It was clean, the air worked perfectly, the proximity of the condo to the beach, the laundry, the parking lot, just everything was perfect for us. For a family vacation, the fact that the beach was safe, the pool was clean, and the property was quiet at night was a premium for us. We loved the fact that we were steps from a safe beach and the property was semi remote, away from the hustle and bustle, but still a short drive to most anything we wanted to do. Additionally, there were umbrellas, chairs, a cooler, and wake boards available to use, We would definitely recommend this property to people who are looking for a nice, relaxing place to stay as opposed to being packed into a overcrowded and overpriced resort and we would stay again ourselves if we were ever to visit Maui again.

Great location, well stocked and clean.

We enjoyed our time at Makani A Kai. The location is central and easy access to most parts of the island. The beach was nice with a few turtles to see while snorkeling. We had 2 couples so it would have been nice to have an option of making a second king bed. Also the furniture is not very comfortable for relaxing. We were a bit surprised that there wasn’t an oven, just a small toaster oven. Everything worked well and the view of the ocean was wonderful. We could whale watch from the lanai. Great to sit looking at the ocean from the lanai, stumble to the beach, and walk to Tradewinds/ Aquarium/ Tante's. About equidistant between Lahaina and Wailea and < 20 mins from the airport. I'd strongly recommend it.

Great location

This is a small complex located directly on a nice beach next to a remote park, so there's a very long stretch of secluded beach. Not necessarily good for swimming or surfing, but great for walks along the beach or sitting by the surf. Wading into the water is fine, very calm water. Unit to beach is about 1 min walk, about as close as you can get. The general location is very convenient and central to anyplace on Maui. The unit itself has been recently refreshed/updated. Not fancy, but really nice for a laid-back vacation. Would gladly stay here again.

We had 4 adult family member stay, and it worked well for all our needs . The ocean access was quite close, just a walk across the lawn to a nice beach area. Incredible Time IN Maui

First of all the property is well maintained and Clean. The Check in Process along with the information packets easily explained everything. The Condo was clean and comfortable. We also loved that everything was there that we could use, even Beach chairs, flippers, mask, cooler for the day and more. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms had be redone and fresh looking. Sitting on the Lani in the morning overlooking the Pool and the Beach. We Loved being there and plan on Going Again and would be happy to rent this condo again.

Excellent condo - perfect views, quiet, clean, nicely furnished. Very pleased with service from Management Office. Grounds clean, well kept. Unit just as described. Great whale watching all day from our balcony. AC worked great, all the extras including beach chairs, coolers, etc. Coin-op laundry right at bottom of stairs. Only suggestion would be that the kitchen window needs blinds. Thank you - great week ! Highly recommend.

Best place on the island by far. Great property with great people, perfect access to the beach quiet. Superb location with great views on the property and from the condo. Perfect distance to all the main places on the island. Great for kids and adults alike. Condo was perfect. Very clean, updated, felt like home, had everything we needed. Will definitely be staying at this place again.
