Hilltop farm cabin, private deck & sweeping views, 10 mins to Ōhope Beach

Perched on a rise, this private, free-standing cabin offers sweeping countryside views over cattle, sheep and chickens - and clear, uninterrupted night skies once the sun goes down. It's a genuine escape from screens (there's no TV here) while still keeping you close to the coast: Ōhope Beach is just 10 minutes away, and the Motu Trails mountain biking tracks are 20 minutes further.

The cabin has a queen bed, premium linen and comfortable furnishings, plus free high-speed Wi-Fi and plenty of power outlets for those who need to stay connected. Step outside onto the wide, fully sheltered deck and you'll find your own semi-enclosed outdoor kitchen with an induction hob, gas ring, air fryer, microwave and rice cooker - everything you need for self-catering. A private bathroom sits just along the same covered deck. In the evenings, the outdoor dining table and heater make for a cosy spot to eat, have a coffee, and simply take in the view.

Guests have full privacy during their stay, with friendly hosts living nearby if you need anything. You're welcome to wander the farm - just check in with us first so we can help you navigate the livestock and daily farm operations safely. In season, you can even ask to pick some of the farm's fresh fruit.

Please note the driveway is shared with the main house, so you may occasionally see a vehicle pass - a small trade-off for such a peaceful, rural setting.
