'Plenty and easy parking. When I entered the bar, I was confronted with Theakstone's on draught, real ale, which is one of my all time favourites (only temporarily available) so I knew that my stay was going to be excellent. Nice food, very friendly staff and nice breakfast. It was my first stay, but hopefully not my last. My routing when travelling in the UK varies, but I hope I can include the Forest Lodge in my future travel plans. It would be worth driving a bit extra to arrive here. '
'Comfortable quiet stay part of a longer visit to relatives. Room was cosy and ensuite was good fully functioning with lovely shower. Bed was firm but comfortable ,facilities limited but to an acceptable pricepoint

'There was lots of parking available. Check in was easy and the receptionist was very helpful in pointing out where our room could be found and where the spa could be accessed near our room. Having three single beds in one room is a really good idea for three adults to share - I went with my two daughters and none of us wanted to share a double bed so three singles in a room was exactly what we needed. 'Het is een net hotel met vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel,er is voldoende gelegenheid om te parkeren,(gratis).
Er zijn zelfs een aantal overdekte parkeerplaatsen.
Het hotel ligt aan een grote weg maar daar heb je weinig tot geen last van.
Er is ook gratis wifi,deze werkt uitstekend.
De kamer ziet er netjes en verzord uit,en het hotel is ongeveer anderhalf jaar geleden volledig opgeknapt.
Elk gedeelte van het hotel heeft een eigen keuken die van alle gemakken is voorzien.

'The apartment was securely accessed. The apartment itself was large, comfortable and very clean.
Access to the nearest pub/restuarant was only 4 min walk away, but kitchen facilities were ample if you wanted to make your own food.'

"De hotel en locatie zijn verder prima, perfect voor een korte reis. De lift daar en tegen was niet zo goed, het duurde telkens veel te lang voor dat ie op je verdieping was en de speakers in de lift bleven bij elke verdieping maar aangeven dat de deuren open en dicht gingen. Na een paar dagen woed dat heel vervelend."
"Pleasantly surprised at how large the room was. While there are a few areas of wear and tear, I found the room to be comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable and even thought this location doesn’t have airco, they do have a fan in room. While small, the fan was sufficient to keep it cool enough for a good nights sleep.
We would definitely return to this location, if needed, in the future.
No info about breakfast because we didn’t need it but you are conveniently next to a service area so there are options available. You do need to walk to these, it seems, because upon leaving the hotel in our car, the only way we could go was towards the exit to the highway.
