'Just stayed a few nights to go fishing and it was great, we showed up a little later than expected bc of a wreck and annoyed the neighbors a little but other than that everything was smooth.'

'We were so lucky to find Sound Serenity when our previously scheduled home was canceled a week & a half before our trip. Even though we weren’t right on the beach, the home was an easy 12 minute walk to the beach for sunrise and 5 minute walk to the sound for sunset. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. 'Arrived for the visit on a motorcycle on a misty day a couple hours early while waiting for my family to check the location. The homeowner was there finishing the clean and she allowed me to park my bike in the carport and have the property early.property has a nice sitting both inside and out. Only downside to the property is that the bedrooms do not have access directly to common area. back bedroom access is either through front bedroom or bath.'

'We have 7 adults and three children. The house was perfect for us. Nice and clean with all the bedding and towels included. Everything we needed for the pool and beach. Has a nice large pool. Nice backyard with fire pit. Nice quiet neighborhood near the golf course. The beach is right down the road and close to stores and restaurants. Great communication between us and the host from the time I reserved the house until the day we left. Would rent again.'

It truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable OBX getaway.'

'Wonderful beach charm cottage. Very relaxing. Well stocked. Nice TP and Paper towels provided along with dish soap, a new kitchen sponge. Shampoo, body wash and hair conditioner were supplied too. The location is VG. Pride of ownership shows. A little tough on doggie paws due to sand burrs, and thorns in nearby growing vines. But, that’s the nature of beach vegetation.'
