'No Wifi access on the first day and only at the lobby. Only few staffmembers could speak some English. Unfriendly staff. Anouncments Etc almost only in Japanese. Swimmingpool closes at 4 pm. A part of our room's sealing was only 185cm high!!!This hotel is clearly aiming at Japanese guests only. Location is convenient.'

'This a small Ryokan which is very authentic Japanese style. No English spoken but this adds to the authenticity. We loved the natural accommodation which was exactly as shown on the website. Excellent meal provided in the evening and an enormous breakfast which we were not expecting so was a bonus. We lounged about in out Japanese clothes provided and Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this clean and peaceful retreat. '

'In het echt is dit Hotel nog veel mooier dan men volgens de foto's op internet zou verwachten. Het is een hotel met een enorm luxe inrichting, en met een daarbij behorende service en restaurants. er zijn twee grote restaurants. de een japans en de ander een Frans restaurant, welke wel aan de prijzige kant zijn. de twee restaurants hebben een fantastisch uitzicht over het meer (lake) Ashi. Het hotel is prima te bereiken met Hakone Highway bussen welke in ons geval vertrok vanuit het sinjuku...
