  • Sunset Cottage is a vintage, Wi-fi free rental nestled in the farmland near Washington CH, OH., and minutes off of HWY 35. There two bedroom with queen beds, and one bedroom with a twin bed and set of full size bunk beds. There are two full bathrooms, a cozy living room with a sleeper sofa, and a cheery fully furnished kitchen and dining area. You'll enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the abience of country life.



    IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

    - We kindly ask that there are no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior.

    - Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

    - Please be aware you will be charged 10% of the total trip at booking and the remaining 90% will be charged to the card on file, thirty days before check-in.

    - Absolutely no pets. If a pet is discovered, there will be a $250 upcharge.

Christmas holiday

This property was perfect to celebrate the holidays with our family that live in 4 different states.The space was perfect for playing games & eating our meals together. We were all able to "unplug" for a time without TV or wi-fi. The beds were very comfortable & there were plenty of extra linens & towels.We will be back when we are back in the area.

Spacious yard for outdoor games, bbqs etc. Extra blankets, sheets, linens etc. complimentary laundry detergent. Plenty of T.P. For bathrooms. Had a few indoor toys and a few books. Living room sofa is hide-away-bed. Could use more cooking/baking utensils, mixing bowls etc. in the kitchen. Needs to be cleaned better. Outdoor game or two would be neat! Even a deck table would be a delight! Was very thankful for the kickball, trike and stroller available in the garage! Overall- perfect price and fit our needs wonderfully! Thank you! If we are ever in the area again will see if it’s available.

The amenities that I read indicated WiFi was available but it was not. Disappointing, but we could live with that. It also said we had air conditioning, but we could not find or figure out how to get any air (there were 4 uninstalled window units in the garage). We were communicating about it, but at 8:30 Saturday morning, the host completely ghosted me leaving me in a house in 85 degree weather with thunderstorms moving in so we couldn’t even open the windows. We left a day early because it was like an oven in the house - very uncomfortable. I messaged the host about the fact that we were leaving and still got no response. What should have been a fun weekend with my daughters, was uncomfortable and cut short. Very disappointed.

Fairly comfortable accommodations, though showing some signs of age—a bit frayed around the edges—worn furniture, peeling wallpaper & border paper, etc. The place actually was quite a bit smaller than the photos led us to expect. But overall, it was comfortable, despite the lack of central AC (there are window AC units in most rooms). It was clean and, for the most part adequately furnished (though the women folk decried the lack of prep and serving bowls).
