'Lovely guest house in a quiet area, but just a few minutes walk from the sea front We received a lovely warm welcome from Lynn & Scott Our room with an en suite bathroom with a shower was lovely fresh & clean The bed and pillows were super comfortable We were there to celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday and a card & celebration banner were left in the room. Such a nice touch and so thoughtful Breakfast the following morning was delicious and very substantial Fruit juice, tea & coffee,...

'Our first mini break away alone, in 13 years and it didn't dissapoint. Anne is the most lovely host, so organised, courteous and kind, nothing was too much trouble. We were a little hot in the small double room, however Anne quickly provided a fan that assisted well. Breakfast was very tasty and scheduled for a time to suit us. Anne was very accommodating to my intolerances and catered with alternative milk and yoghurt. When booking I was unsure if booking the pool would be inconvenient,...

'Fantastic location overlooking the hilltop sea views. Last minute overnight booking, with only the rear looking room available (would like to try the sea view rooms next time). Room was immaculately clean with a fan, iron (and board), hairdryer, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle (also tea, coffee and milk, that you can have refilled if you need more). Staff were absolutely fantastic from the time we checked in to when we left. Bar and food area downstairs (also plenty of outdoor seating). I...

'All good, it’s well'

'We had a very pleasent stay at the hotel. When we arrived, they gave us an upgraded room with a beautifull balcony and view at the town and river. The room looked just renovated and had a beautifull design. Good and large bed, clean rooms. The restaurant was very good and personal very friendly.'

'We had lovely time staying at the Cleveland Hotel. The room was excellent and the staff was very helpful.'

'Well looked after breakfast really good nice and friendly all the time good holiday'

'Prima kamer voor een nacht'

'The hotel is only about a year old so the building and all the fittings and furniture are in as-new condition. The staff were all cheerful and a delight to work with. The food was good both breakfast and the evening meals. The location right on the foreshore is attractive with lovely views of the sunrise but it is well away from the centre of Torquay. When I arrived Google maps had the location 300 metres too close to the main part of Torquay so you need to check this before setting a route.'

'Unique boutique BnB just wonderful.'

'Nice hotel with friendly personnal'

'Buitenzijde is prachtig, maar binnen is sterk aan renovatie toe, wij kregen een kleine kamer aan de achterzijde. Het zou prettig zijn om bij het boeken ook een foto van de kamer te hebben die je daadwerkelijk krijgt. De plaatjes waren prachtig, maar resultaat valt in praktijk tegen daardoor'

'Oud gebouw, personeel was niet zo vriendelijk. Goede matras, oude kamer, heel warm in de zomer. Fijn dat er een fitness en zwembad is'
