'Our 3rd year returning to this wonderful home in Calais! The close proximity to Montpelier and Stowe is a blessing, but the best part is hitting that dirt road on the way to the house. The community is so welcoming, always offering a wave or a smile. The house is situated on a gorgeous piece of land, walking distance to Curtis Pond. 'We enjoyed our stay at this classic VT farmhouse. Our family and friends found it very comfortable and relaxing. Our dog loved it as well. We took advantage of the wood stove (had to get some kindling and newspaper to get it started). Maybe think about getting a few more knives, forks and spoons. We had 8 for a couple of nights and used all 8 provided. Loved the location. Nice uphill walks and just a 6 minute drive to Sugarbush pkg lot. All in all a great week. Would come back here...

The location was perfect as we could walk for bagels or to the pharmacy and the grocery stores were close by and wasn’t far from the places we wanted to go. 'This house was immaculately clean and had a lot of room. It’s in a convenient location. We were able to enjoy Lake Champlain boat ride, Ben & Jerry Factory Tour, VT Teddy Bear Factory Tour and some nice local restaurants. Definitely recommend!'
