'What a delightful surprise ! Our stay was an afternoon tea treat and overnight stay for our 70th birthdays. We had a deluxe room with complimentary use of the Spa facilities. Their website was easy to follow which made booking so straightforward. The BLOK restaurant was stunning with an intimate atmosphere. Our meal was delicious ( although we were still full after our afternoon tea!) I’d definitely recommend Laneley Hall to my friends. '

'It was OK for a one night stay; the bed was squeeking every time we turned on it (did not sleep well because of it), there wasn't a curtain so the room was lit up from sun-up and it looked like there hadn't been vacuumed in a while. The breakfast was lovely though, and the folks running the place were friendly and accomodating. '

'The owners were exceptionally nice and helpful. The interiors of all the rooms, lounge and dining area were wonderful, demonstrating a real flair. Bed linen, towels etc felt like they were new. We stayed three nights and would have been happy to have stayed 33. '

'What makes this B+B stand out is the attention to detail in making guests comfortable. Little things like providing body lotion, plenty of cups/mugs so you don't have to try to wash up, fresh milk, plenty of sockets for your phone etc and much more. On top of this the surrounding countryside is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice, and the hosts provide a warm welcome.'

'I’d give Melin Tregyb 5* for cleanliness and the room was large and airy with a very comfortable double bed. The owners were very quick to respond to emails but it would be comforting for me, as a solo traveller, to have an hour per day when the owners could be guaranteed to be in the building. '

'Had a lovely time staying here. Different from staying in a hotel. Hot drinks offered to us every time we came in. Beautiful big bedroom with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Clean, tidy, really comfortable bed. Had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had for ages. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the proprietors are lovely, warm, friendly people. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in the area. Thank you both x'

'Lovely house in a nice location. A river at the back wirh a field of sheep to overlook. It is in a small and very quiet estate. We did not hear anyone. All we could hear was the river. The house is all you need for a stay, clean, well equipped, good communucation. Parking at the front. There were 5 of us , 2 adults and 3 children, 13, 10 & 7. We were more then comfortable with pleanty of space. Good cooking facilities and pleanty of storage space '

'Pod was beautiful, really warm and the shower was fab really powerful and water was hot. The telly is a,smart TV so you have to sign into your accounts to watch anything...just remember to sign out before you leave. The only issue i have is in the information book it had phone numbers of takeaways so we thought we'd have a takeaway on last night, but when i rang they didn't do delivery! It could be because it was a Tuesday but keep that in mind. But it didn't spoil our stay. '
