'We came in late, after midnight, and check in was no problem. All i wanted was a crisp, clean bed. I got that! And I check closely. John was at the front desk and he was very accommodating. He made it very easy and anxiety-free. Everything i needed was in the room. The free breakfast was fabulous. We woke up hungry and they were ready for us. 'As others have commented, the appearance is of an old-style motel, but it's exceptionally well-maintained and clean, plus super affordable! My room was very large, with two supremely comfortable double beds, a round dining table for two, a desk, microwave, and fridge, and even with all that, there was plenty of open space. Luggage rack included, and I appreciated being able to park right in front of the room and having therefore to move the luggage only a very short distance.'

To check in I had to call a phone number, tell an automated system my name and what I wanted then wait to see if my call was accepted, talk to the person who said they would be right there. 'The property was run-down and looked very shabby. A ceiling tile was moved aside for the TV cable running down the wall to the back of the TV. The bed and bathroom appeared clean. But something smelled skunky. I do NOT smoke cigarettes or pot, but clearly someone had been. 'This stay fit our needs for the night. The room was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet for how close we were to a busy road. My daughter and I enjoyed the pool, had it all to ourselves, although some tiles are falling off and there was a bit of debris that needed cleaned out. Breakfast was decent.'

'Our room was clean and the hotel itself was clean. The staff was very friendly. My only complaint would be the included breakfast. The selection was good but it wasn’t properly stocked or maintained. We were always waiting on something to be replenished. The staff was doing their best but I don’t think they were adequately staffed that particular weekend. Other than that, everything else was great!'

'We usually love splash magic. However this visit was not as great as other visits. First thing was they still have bingo listed as an activity. But they don’t do it anymore. Secondly the water slides were down a lot. Thirdly the adult hot tub is no longer in use. Fourthly every time my grandkids went to play mini golf (4 different times) there was no one there working. The snack bar by the pool was closed for hours yesterday to clean the fryer. I thought that should be done when it’s not open...

'Out of four days the only housekeeping done was towles brought in once. No little amenities like hair dryer, shampoos . Cigarette butts outside. Beds very loud and creaky. Can hear people through the walls. Couch was old and needed a bad shampooing. Check in was very easy and owner/ manager was good at messaging.'
