'place was clean and convenient to trails. Floors are uneven and very easy to trip on. All six of us were over 60 and could not figure out the TV, no big deal as we weren't there for that. One of the chairs at table was broke and there was only 2 sets of keys for the place. There is no hand rail on stairs to the upstairs.Deck is large and nice to sit on. Grill is large but does not get very hot for some reason'

'We stayed here for two nights. The place is definitely off the beaten path and we liked it. Just be aware that the unpaved road is a little rough this time of year. We met the owner Mike not long after checking in and he was a really nice guy. I might try to come back during deer hunting (bow) season.'

'Mike the host is Awesome. Beautiful home and an amazing stay. Mike makes it super easy to stay there so you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your stay. Mike is more than willing to offer advise on the best local places to visit and check out for a family staying at this home. Very peaceful and secluded in a great way. I have stayed there 3 times and will be staying many more times in the future.'

'Our son was graduating from Michigan Tech and this house provided the perfect spot for family to stay for the weekend. There was plenty of space for sleeping and great areas for gathering for talking, meals, and games. The view of the lake from the house was outstanding! Access to the lakeshore was an added bonus and we enjoyed checking out the rocks and beauty of the lake. We would love to come back someday!'

'This cozy log home was the perfect setting to visit our tech students and enjoy the beautiful UP in the winter. It was a bit of a drive to places, but we knew this going in and found the seclusion relaxing.
