Had fun feeding the local crows (sorry if they haunt the house now waiting for donut holes) Had absolutely no problems at all. Communication was stellar. Only thing that could have been considered a problem that really wasn’t I already addressed with the manager. Just had to do with handicap accessibility. 'The house & deck were very nice with beautiful view of the lake. It could use some typical amenities like tissues, hair dryer, etc. The main problem is getting to the house. It’s a 3/4 mile drive down a narrow stone road riddled with potholes and bumps. I was afraid I was going to do damage to the rental car and that’s driving at or lower than the 15mph speed limit! '

'This property is a cute two story, four bedroom home nestled in a quiet Sidney neighborhood. It was perfect for a family gathering of 10. The backyard is large, green, and beautiful. The convenience of cooking and congregating in one location beats booking multiple hotel rooms any day. Our host was friendly and a good communicator. We would and probably will stay again!'

'This was our third year in a row spending most of August at the wonderful Loons nest! Brent and Sarah are great and responsive hosts. The views and water are incomparable and the cabin itself has all of the modern conveniences while maintaining a rustic charm. It is one of our favorite places in the world and hope to be back next year!'

I visited in the "early spring" so not really lake weather but it was still an awesome visit, i can only imagine how awesome the lake is! 'The house was very nice and clean when we arrived, to find a basket of snacks, and instructions on how to manage the home. House is spacious and we had a nice chance to visit with our family while in Wilton. The boys enjoyed the basketball hoop and the fire at night for s’mores. It is located on a fairly busy street lots of trucks passing by. We do have family in New Sharon we probably will stay there again.'

'We stayed at this home while in town for Maine 70.3. The location was great. Winthrop is a cute little town. Home was close to two beautiful lakes. The backyard was very peaceful, right next to a stream. The home was well appointed and had everything we needed. The communication with the host was great.'
