'Thr property is a newbie, ready to house whoever is looking to spend some quite secluded time with family or friends. 5 bedrooms 3.5 baths a large kitchen and cozy livingroom. Remember it is secluded and not a lot around so bring games, books and food! '

'We had a lovely time in the Hummingbird House and were extremely comfortable even in the midst of a weird weather week. It was perfect for my husband, daughter, son-in-law and their Australian Shepard, Polly. The house is equipped with all the amenities we could possibly want or need. Misty was proactive on the small details and everything was great! We came for my mother's 94th birthday and hope to come and stay again next January and maybe before!'

'Stayed here for a week with several friends. Very comfortable and out of the way. Pretty quiet other than some Contruction noise which is temporary. Plenty of room for 2 boats and trucks. If you have Verizon cell service you will have peace a quiet your whole trip as service at the cabin is nonexistent. That was a plus for me. Would stay there again if I return to the area. Only 12 minutes from the state park ramp.'

'It is an excellent place to stay and I'd highly recommend it. A lot of places say they'll sleep 10 but that requires doubling up in all beds. Not here. Lots of beds and we had 9 people. What you need to know: It's a large house on the north shore of Pickwick Lake tucked back at the end of a cove. There are a lot of stairs, so be prepared; 30 down to the front door and about 55 down to the boat dock. The driveway is STEEP. If you have a boat trailer, launch your boat first, then leave the trailer...

'Photos do not do the property justice. Very nice home, safe area, incredible views and perfect outside ambience with outdoor fire pit and grill along with dining and seating. So happy we booked here. Only complaint is with VRBO and the way they charge per day rather than night and have late checkin early checkout so I felt like we paid far more than what was fair based on our actual stay length. But this had nothing to do with the host or the property, both of which exceeded expectations!'
