'Susan's place was a perfect place for me to gather with my children, their significant others, and grandchildren. The house was as advertised! it was secluded and quiet and the kitchen came fully appointed with pots, pans, utensils, plates, silverware, you name it. We cooked all our meals at the house and had everything we needed. Thank you Susan for letting us stay in your peaceful, mountain cabin.'

'While visiting Charlottesville for a wedding, our family stayed at this beautiful farm house for the weekend. We absolutely loved it and hope to return next year. 'We have been coming to Massanutten for several years with the family. This home was one of our favorites. The home is roomy.(there were 12 of us)...with the two kitchen tables upstairs for everyone to sit at. The location to the ski resort is perfect. The kids enjoyed the game room. We only stayed for a long weekend but I can see that this house would be great for a week vacation with the two kitchens.'

'This house is exactly as pictured and described in the listing. It was very clean, spacious and inviting. It is perfect for a large group. Additionally, we were welcomed with fresh flowers, wine, and baked goods - such a thoughtful touch. The house also already had pretty much everything you need - towels (even makeup ones), coffee, tea, soap, etc. The location of the house is great - everywhere we wanted to go downtown (restaurants etc) were 5 minutes max driving. 'The property was very well maintained, nicely decorated and highly functional. We found everything we needed with no delays. Everyone was comfortable and there were six of us. The location was not as centrally located as we’d hoped it would be. It was lovely, it just definitely required a drive to get to downtown Charlottesville. The host was very helpful and responsive. May be a good idea to put electrical covers on the electric socket next to the lower bunk bed, we didn’t trust our toddler to stay on this bed for that reason, but everything else was perfect. 'Great place for our ladies weekend. The house had everything you could need and more. We were a group of friends staying for a long weekend and loved the house. The owner was extremely helpful and reached out directly as soon as I booked. Then he checked in again before our trip with helpful information and tips. We appreciated all the amenities on site and how well stocked it was. I’ve stayed in lots of rentals and loved that we didn’t need to remember towels or soap or trash bags or anything...

'The house was clean and quiet. I would suggest some blackout curtains. I didn't feel comfortable getting dressed there. Also at night the lights come thru. Maybe a thicker throw blanket for the downstairs area is drafty compared to the upper floor. Maybe update appliances. Waffle naker, Keurig, Air Fryer and equal amounts of dishes downstairs in the kitchen are.'

'My husband, our 4 year old and our infant stayed here while we visited Charlottesville for a wedding. The house was the perfect size for us and the location couldn’t have been better. Directions from the host were straightforward and the house was clean, ready for visitors, and exactly as described. We will definitely stay here again for our next visit!'

'This has become an annual trip for my family. Very relaxing. Love spending hours at the rec center. The property is cool. Actually received brand new living room furniture on our second day. Only complaint would be the out dated TVs in the bedroom. I’m sure they’ll be changing those soon'
