  • Rustieke elegantie met het hele jaar door Smoky Mountain View's! 3 slaapkamers / 3 badkamers + Loft met een lees- / kantoorruimte. Perfect huis om te genieten van de buitenlucht met bubbelbad op ruim dek plus houtgestookte open haard! Gashaard in de woonkamer, wasmachine / droger, SS-apparatuur, satelliet-tv / dvd / cd, supersnel draadloos internet. Nieuw centraal verwarmings- en luchtsysteem, garage voor 2 wagens, gasgrill met groot buitenterras en overdekt terras met schommelbank. Geweldig uitzicht! 3.700 voet hoogte. Plafondventilatoren in alle slaapkamers plus zolderruimte! Net had boom het in orde gedaan om de openstelling van het uitzicht!

    Recente updates zijn onder meer nieuw terrasmeubilair, nieuw gekleurd exterieur, bijgewerkte USB-pluggen in Kitchen Island, nieuwe kingsize matras in Master Suite. Nieuwe eenheid voor verwarming en airconditioning geïnstalleerd in 2019. vellen met een draaddichtheid van 800 in alle slaapkamers.

    1e verdieping: Woonkamer met gashaard, TV / DVD / CD, Eetkamer met 8 zitplaatsen, Moderne keuken met roestvrijstalen apparatuur, Keurig koffiezetapparaat en kookeiland, Pantry, King Master suite met tuinsalon en aparte inloopdouche met dubbele wastafels en gloednieuwe 40-inch HD-tv.

    2e Verdieping: (Boven) Loft met leeshoek (veel leesplezier voor alle leeftijden!).Loft heeft gloednieuwe 55 "HD, 5K flatscreen-tv. 2e Queen slaapkamer met TV / DVD / CD, Twin raambed, ligbad met bad / douche combo.

    3e verdieping: (beneden) 3e suite met een queensize bed en een eenpersoonsbed, flatscreen-tv. Ligbad en bad / douche combinatie. Wasruimte met wasmachine en droger, garage voor 2 wagens. Toegang tot de veranda en het terras beneden.

Beautiful Mountain House

The home was very comfortable and everything we expected. Be prepared to drive up some windy sleep curves that would be my only draw back. We are from Florida so it was scary for us. The layout of the home gave everyone privacy which was great. Beautiful sunset and lots of rocking chairs to enjoy.

What a relaxing, pleasant experience!We enjoyed dining at Boojum's and Beach Mountain in Waynesville. We also took a midnight hike up Black Balsam to get a 360-degree view of the stars. Unforgettable!

We loved sitting on the balcony watching the birds come to the 2 feeders as well as sitting in the hot tub which was heated the whole time we were there. The driveway was very steep and I would not drive it but my friends were able to but it was a process. We would also have liked to have more lighting in the dining room, it was very hard to see our puzzle. Overall it was a great stay but I think next time I would try to find a place with more trails and walkability from the house. Also there is a bin marked recycle in the kitchen but there is nowhere to drop it off, this was confusing. The laundry is located in one of the bedrooms so I felt bad having to go into that room and disturb my friend.

Great cozy option

Spent four nights with our teens and dog for spring break. Hiked great smokies, blue ridge parkway, walked the lake junalaska (adorable area), ate in waynesville. Had a really great time bonding as a family; we were sad to leave ! Positives: view is great. You are a little set back with some trees in front of the hour but the views are lovely. Hot tub and fire pit set up are great. Stocked kitchen. Cozy and comfortable. Drive up mountain is intimidating first time but it’s paved and totally doable! Things we would change: the bear theme is taken to the next level. There were many items like stuffed animals bears all over the house that just leave the impression of being dust collectors. partly this is just person taste though. Also, given the amazing location on top of the mountain, the house is not build to maximize the view. It is generally dark as the deck is covered and the windows are better on the second level. Couldn’t see much from the kitchen and main downstairs family area. The deck is where you need to be to enjoy the views The pictures are very accurate.

Family Time

The owners have gone to great lengths to create a home away from home. This place was gorgeous and yet comfortable. It sincerely felt like walking into 'home'. The decorative bear details were throughout and such fun to note each one. We are a cooking family and this home's kitchen was fully stocked! There was nothing we didn't have. It was wonderful! We are also avid readers and there was an area upstairs perfectly suited for reading in comfort. The view was breathtaking...the sunsets...oh my! Bird feeders hanging from the deck with bird seed available so we could enjoy the sweet birds. There was firewood and kindling for the fabulous outdoor fireplace which we thoroughly enjoyed! The grill was cook ready with a full gas tank. All in all, we had the most amazing family time from cooking together in the kitchen to playing games around the coffee table with a fire glowing in the fireplace, to soaking in the hot tub on the brisk evenings with a fire crackling nearby and then sitting out around the fire other evenings just chatting and sharing each other's space. Theses owners didn't miss a detail. We fell in love with this place and have promised to return! Thank you so much for the opportunity to enjoy this lovely place. The rooms were spacious and accommodating, very clean and comfortable, and full of welcoming amenities. The rental included everything a family would need for a satisfying stay. From kitchen amenities to board games and outside amenities like hot tub, fire place, bbq grill to multiple level decks with a variety and plentiful amount of outdoor furniture including rocking chairs, we couldn’t have wanted anything more! In addition, the place was spotless inside and out. The location of the property was higher up on the mountain than prior rentals so we had to get used to driving the switchbacks since we are from very flat Florida. The views from the outside decks were amazing! All of the processes from booking to check-in and checkout went smoothly, and Jessica responded quickly to a couple of questions we had. She was a pleasure to deal with! We would highly recommend this pet friendly vacation rental.

Comfortable beds, fires at night, watching the sunsets, Porch sitting absorbing the views and fresh air. We loved the Dancing Bear!!!

Beautiful cabin and View

Checking into our cabin was a breeze. The cabin was beautiful. All bedrooms were on separate floors with on suite bathrooms, which gave each couple complete privacy. The view was absolutely breathtaking. We cooked breakfast every morning and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. I would definitely stay here again.

Great home with great views. The pictures do not do it justice. The outdoor fireplace and hot tub are awesome. Our kids loved the giant playground, playhouse and streams at the bottom of the mountain when you enter the community. Excellent.

If you want to feel like you are staying outside of town but still close by this is a great place.

Loved it!

We enjoyed the outside fireplace every chance we got! The views were spectacular. The inside was very comfortable and we enjoyed the gas fireplace as well. The house was perfect for our needs and we definitely recommend it!
