'Very clean property with good amenities. Good size and comfortable rooms with updated bathrooms, optimally located near the Capitol and Old Sacramento. Very good and high end breakfast included with the stay. The only negative would be the lack of self parking and very expensive $47 per day valet parking. Sometimes needed to wait for 15 minutes to have the car brought to you.'

'I absolutely adore staying at the Kipton. The location, staff, and amenities were all top-notch. The room had an unusual smell when we first arrived, but we quickly got used to it. It was a great bonus that the Revival was on-site. We had a fantastic time there.'

'Our room was a studio with a kitchen on the 8th floor. It was well designed and decorated. The bed was comfortable as well as the sofa. Everything was clean and in working order. Our room was quiet with minimal street noise. I appreciated the convenience of parking in the garage next door with in and out privileges and not needing a valet to get the car. 'The rooms are perfectly designed. Full sized refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, roll around desk, sliding black out blinds, bathroom night lights and quiet air conditioners. I travel a lot and find the rooms and set up perfect for my needs. Staff was casual and professional. I did not have the breakfast as my departure was before they open. Great small hotel in an older part of town. Definitely stay there again when visiting Sacramento. Perfect rooms.'

'Anna from the front desk was a total sweetheart! She checked us in early and even helped with our luggage! The hotel is clean, quiet and nicely decorated. The area is nice as well, Capital Park is beautiful. The only thing we did not like was the mattress, it was not very firm and my husband moves around a lot in his sleep so I didn’t sleep very well. But we know you can’t please everyone!'

'The housekeeping was awful. There was a noticeable stain on the duvet cover and hair on top and in the sheets. Hair was also found in the shower stall. Troy was very helpful in immediately moving us to another room. That shower also had hair in it. I used the shower hand held and rinsed it out. The brown spider in the bathroom took me over. I spoke with Ryan at the desk and was told he refunded the stay. I have no confirmation or receipt of it. I will be calling them about it. '
