'I could have lived with the room's prison style window, the frayed carpeting, the ZERO bathroom counter space, and the passed out junkies across the street in the park. I could've lived with the comical "gym" that is literally the size of a walk-in closet big enough to hold a grand total of two treadmills and a few weights. 'Clean, quiet hotel within easy walking distance of Sutter Health Park. There is a charge to park at the property in a secure lot. Great breakfast, friendly, helpful staff. The property is in West Sacramento and much more affordable than lodging on the east side of the river. The neighborhood is not posh, but we never felt unsafe walking to baseball or the river. 'Anna from the front desk was a total sweetheart! She checked us in early and even helped with our luggage! The hotel is clean, quiet and nicely decorated. The area is nice as well, Capital Park is beautiful. The only thing we did not like was the mattress, it was not very firm and my husband moves around a lot in his sleep so I didn’t sleep very well. But we know you can’t please everyone!'
