'Very clean and comfortable. Good bed and shower. Plenty of good quality linen. For a longer stay clothes storage might be an issue as most of the wardrobe (could do with more hangers), bedside tables and chest of drawers were taken up with the owner's personal belongings. Our stay was 2 weeks so we kept our suitcases open on the bed in the other bedroom (which is not included in the let). 'The hosts were amazing and helped us with everything we needed yet total privacy too. The home is very large and great for large group of friends and family to visit comfortably. The views are so nice and you can sit on the front lawn and relax and see things all day. I hope to visit again.'

'A gorgeous wee place nestled in the heart of matakana. So lovely to be able to relax with one of my bestie's in such a beautiful home. Jules was super helpful and went to lengths to make our stay a great one. Great tip if you're going with the friend she is able to separate the bed into two singles. 'This is a great spot for a group holiday stay. It is close to multiple beaches (but I would recommend driving rather than walking to them). The house has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Jason is a very responsive and kind host.'

'Disappointing that the spa bath in room was non operational and apparently all spa baths were the same. Shower complicated control system. Tried to go fancy but failed. Included breakfast good but doesn't start until 8am. Dinner nice but exorbitantly overpriced. Single lane gravel road into property dangerous with lots of blind corners and cars travelling too fast. Had a number of near misses.'
