Beautiful holiday home in mint condition on a small holiday island surrounded by water (lake for swimming, boating, relaxing on the lawn) where the family and the dog feel at home. About 500m from the Ijsselmeer with pebble and fine sandy beaches, swimming, surfing, kite surfing, fishing, cycling, shopping, good restaurants make your holiday a pleasure. In summer there is a large antique and flea market within walking distance on Sundays. Sights, museums, for young and old in the immediate vicinity. Beautiful old Dutch towns with charming architecture are only a few minutes away by car, e.g. Medemblik - 5 km - Hoorn 20 km - Enkuizen - 25 km - or even Amsterdam 60 km. For children there is a large private playground with kiosk within walking distance of our small children's playground on the complex, free admission for Vislust guests. Terrace and many highlights such as trampolines, large slides, wooden railway, swings and much more, which can be used free of charge by our younger guests. Three kilometres away is an indoor swimming pool with water slide - Indore playground in Medemblik - for children up to 16 years approx. 5 km away. The nearest harbour is in Medemblik - with its historic railway station and dyke with jetty for boat trips. In Enkuizen there is another large Indore swimming pool directly adjacent to a fine sandy beach by the sea. Spokjesland, also in Enkuizen, for children up to the age of 12, is a popular attraction for young families or grandparents with grandchildren. Alkmaar, with its antique cheese market held every Friday, can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Cycling routes are endless. You can cycle tours in the surrounding area without the need for a car.
