'The room was OK, but finding the hotel and finding the room within the hotel were both very difficult. They also asked for an additional card checking fee before check-in, though thankfully they waived this when we queried it. The remote check in made the start of the stay very stressful, but once we were in it was fine. There are some lovely period features in the property, but some of the paneling is actually wallpaper!'

'I booked the sea view room for my girlfriend’s birthday and it was incredible. The whole hotel is so so beautiful, chic and well designed.
The staff are amazing both front of house and spa.

'Really sweet, clean and bright little apartment in a good location for shops and restaurants. Communication from the host was spot on and access into the apartment was so practical and straightforward. I would definitely stay here again as for a short stay (when you’re not really needing to cook much), it’s got such a wholesome and welcoming feel! But the Mercure in Brighton is truly a hidden gem!
Whát a great hotel! Go here! You won't be disappointed.

The managers are visible and always helpful.
From Betsy in the restaurant to the staff in the bar, reception or restaurant.

Great bed, perfect shower, ammenities, bottle of free water with and without gas and all you could think of.
I cannot find any negative about this hotel!
The breakfast was superb for every taste.
If there is space you can park in the back of the hotel for 18 pounds (if you are a new member of Accor, otherwise it is 28 pounds per day. Nearby are more options.
If you order a drink in the bar?
Do tell them not to poor to the rim.
You pay the max and it is too much.
They should ask for that, especially if you already had one!?
And he poored the next automatically to the higher volume/price.
