'It’s a decent hotel for a decent price. Within 2 minutes you are at the main road along the beach. The swimming pool is perfect. The only thing they could improve is plastic loungers instead of wooden. '

'Just wow! We had an excellent stay and I would rave about this property to anyone that wants to enjoy the beach and the pool and be centrally located and NOT on a party beach! So nice and the staff is amazing! The pool bartenders are hit or miss - they were not the same with service. The rest of the staff was so friendly and helpful and lovely! 'Everything was great, very clean, the staff were super friendly, and the ocean view and the pool eve thing was beautiful we enjoyed our vacation. However, I do feel the hotel needs more lighting in the area and some minor repairs to the property. Otherwise, everything was perfect. I highly recommend the Hotel Luna for your next vacation! ❤️❤️❤️'

'We only stayed one night before taking the ferry to Utila. I appreciated that they arranged my airport transfer to the hotel and from the hotel to the ferry. My room was near the water, but you had to walk down the sand to get to it due to construction work. This construction meant there was a lot of noise during our stay, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The room was quite large and clean. 'What a wonderful place! As close to paradise as you can get! Casual and comfortable, with no pretension. The tidal pool was perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The food was incredible! The owners, staff and the locals who frequent the place were so warm and welcoming, you come in as strangers and leave as family! Can’t wait to return! '

'I think we knew it was 2 double beds, but it was way too small for 2 adults. The beds were rock hard. A queen with a mattress topper would be great. We needed a light blanket for nighttime, only had a sheet. Kitchen was lacking in what we would consider automatic. We cooked 2 dinners in. No frying pan, had to ask for coffee filters, no plug for the sink, no hot water in the kitchen, no strainer, no cheese grater, no corkscrew, no ice trays and most importantly did not include bottled water....
