'Unfortunatly we didn't get to stay at this wonderfull place due to car trouble. We had to cancel our stay there and reroute. We thank the owners for understanding and will definitly come back to there in the futur. For future travelers, the road leading to this idealic place is under revision due to the winter damages.. Make sure to have a spare tyre in the car and not just the repairkit!! Hire the right car for off road driving, which it is out there. '

'Very comfortable yet very small room. Shared bath and kitchen making it nice to meet other travelers and make a real meal. They had a nespresso machine which was a real treat! The outside needs some TLC, the view is stunning and you really can’t enjoy it as there is no place to sit in (outside of the kitchen table) or outside. The lawn was overgrown and there was discarded furniture, etc outside. The place is a treasure, just could use some outside maintenance. Would stay again'

'We've had five incredible nights at Saudafell Guesthouse. It felt like home. The owners are very kind., each morning they served a more than complete breakfast and gave us plenty of information about the area, tips and tops and also about their lives in this beautiful country. We felt very welcome and will surely be back one day. Thanks! '
