'Wat een leuk verblijf er knus en het centrum op loop afstand'

'We had a room on the top floor with a shared bathroom. That was fine, we barely noticed it. It was a small but cosy room and we slept comfortably. It was also quiet :) Nice employees and breakfast was good!'

'Plekje was goed tov het centrum. De rest was veel minder: bij betaling met MC kwam 5% extra, de weg naar de kamer mocht ik zelf uitzoeken, ontbijt of koffie is er in de winter niet, de douche op de gang werkt met een drukknopje en met de andere hand mag je de douchekop vasthouden, shampoo of zeep ontbreken, de Wifi code werd me op verzoek nageroepen. Geen gevoel van gastvrijheid, men was vooral op de inkomsten uit.'

'Alles was prima in orde. Schoon, sympathiek en voorkomend. Ik kan wel meer toevoegen om aan die 50 woorden toe te komen maar dat voegt aan mijn beoordeling weinig tot niets toe.'

'Mooi appartement met 4 eenpersoonsbedden. 1 daarvan was een slaapbank en die lag niet super de drie overige bedden waren prima. Verder alles prima verzorgd. Er is mogelijkheid om thee en koffie te zetten en er is een koelkast, kookgelegenheid met alle inventaris aanwezig. '

'Rustige omgeving. Je wordt verrast als je binnenstapt in de woning. Wat een gezelligheid! De eigenaresse Anna is niet aanwezig, maar toch is er een warm onthaal. De koelkast staat vol voor een goed ontbijt! En we hebben er heerlijk geslapen.'

'We had a very spacious and nice room, comfortable beds. The room was very warm, and after two days we noticed (2 minutes before leaving) that the guests before us had turned up the heat in the bathroom to 40 degrees! So if your room is hot, check the thermostate in the bathroom (under the sink). There is a small kitchenette, convenient enough to prepare meals. Breakfast is served in the morning. Bildudalur is not a large town, better to get groceries before arrival (there is a very small shop...

"Bij dit hotel zit je midden in het centrum zonder dat het gehorig is. Wij hadden een deluxe kamer die erg schoon was. Binnen 5 minuten ben je bij busstop 14, van waaruit je alle transfers neemt naar excursies, het vliegveld etc. Er is een bar in het hotel, daar miet je wel direct afrekenen. Ontbijt is oké, maar er is niets warms, dus ook geen omelet of toast. En niet echt variatie. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een verblijf in IJsland."

"Our apartment is quite big. The location is convenient to all the major interesting places in the city. The reception is helpful. But the kitchen can hardly be used due to very limited cooking utensils and cleaning capacity. If you plan to cook yourself, maybe you should find another place. The breakfast is also very limited. Regarding parking, the on site parking is 20 Euro/day and there is only 1 lot. It's not too difficult to find a on street parking nearby, but it's expensive at 600 ISK/hour, payable from 9am to 9pm. A good choice is to park in a nearby garage (Tradarkot) at the rate of 260 ISK for the 1st hour and 130 ISK/hour for the following hours (Oct. 2024 price). With Parka app, it's very convenient to check in and out for the garage. "
