'Hotel has a beautiful carved maple lobby, beautiful view of the illinois river & friendlt and accomodating staff. Rooms are nice. Some of the hallways etc could use some updating. Nice and quiet with excellent complimentary coffee in the mornings. Irish pub within walking distance as well as excellent pizza at Hoops Pizza and beer. Also located next to I 74 with wasy access'

'Coffee was good, as was the breakfast offered. I enjoyed the lemon water available in the lobby. Rooms were nice and clean.'

'Staff was nice. Property was clean and taken care of. Service was slightly lacking because front desk wasn't always there and at breakfast things ran out and didn't get refilled very quick...even 2 hours later they still hadn't brewed more coffee. Great place, just a little room to improve.'
