'Hotel has a beautiful carved maple lobby, beautiful view of the illinois river & friendlt and accomodating staff. Rooms are nice. Some of the hallways etc could use some updating. Nice and quiet with excellent complimentary coffee in the mornings. Irish pub within walking distance as well as excellent pizza at Hoops Pizza and beer. Also located next to I 74 with wasy access'

'I initially had a problem with the lock on my first room but the staff at the front desk took care of me immediately and the stay was fine otherwise. It wasn't the fanciest of hotels but for the price, I would stay here again. '
